All Suspects Arrested In Aniah Blanchard Disappearance And Her Remains Have Been Discovered UPDATED

35-year-old Antwain“Squirmy” Fisher was booked on first-degree kidnapping charges early Saturday morning. He is now being held in Alabama’s Lee County Detention Center. According to the arrest affidavit, investigations revealed that Fisher “provided material assistance to Yazeed by providing transportation to Yazeed, and disposing of evidence."

29-year-old Ibraheem Yazeed, was also arrested on first-degree kidnapping charges earlier this month. He was seen at the same gas station when and where Aniah was last seen. A witness positively identified Yazeed "forcing Blanchard into a vehicle against her will and then leaving with her in the vehicle."

The final suspect, David Johnson Jr., was arrested in Montgomery on November 25th and is charged with hindering prosecution.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Auburn police determined that human remains discovered in a wooded area of Macon County, Alabama, on Monday, were that of Aniah.

The last time 19-year-old college student Aniah was seen was on October 23rd, 2019. Her black 2017 Honda CR-V, was found at an apartment complex, 55 miles away from where Aniah was last seen. There was damage to the SUV which occurred between the time it was last seen and when it was recovered in Montgomery on October 25th. There was also blood found in the SUV suggesting that Aniah suffered a life threatening injury.

She was born on September 2nd, 1996 to Lisa Sullivan. She grew up in Caroline County, Virginia with her younger sister named Gabrielle. When Kate was 7 years old, Lisa married James Branton.

Katelin was unique, quirky, sometimes unpredictable, and emotional. She was outgoing, carefree and fun-loving. She dyed her hair different colors, gave herself different haircuts, and had tattoos and piercings. Katelin had an active social life. And was always attached to her phone. She was allergic to cats, but loved everything Hello Kitty. Katelin was clumsy and could make you laugh.She was super smart. She was so smart in fact, that she graduated from high school when she was just 16.

After graduation, Katelin got a job so she could move out of her parents' house as soon as she could. She didn’t trust her stepfather, James.

“She felt very nervous around him, and that he was kind of abusive to an extent. I can’t confirm physical because she never outright told me, but definitely verbally,” said her friend, Kevin Eastridge.

One of Katelin's friends was a girl named Amber Rios. When Amber was 11, she and her family moved to Arizona. Despite the distance between them, they eventually fell in love. In 2014, when Katelin turned 18, she moved to Arizona to be with Amber and the two soon got engaged. While in Arizona, Katelin kept in constant contact with her mother and sister. She would call and text them several times a day.

Katelin didn't stay in Arizona for very long. 

She wanted to see her sister's new baby boy. She also needed to go back to Virginia to get a copy of her diploma for cosmetology  school. So, on December 1st, 2015, Katelin was back in her hometown. She was only going to stay for a few days, because she was suppose to start cosmetology school on December 7th.

On December 5th, Katelin needed a ride to the airport so she could get back to Arizona before she started school. Her mother had to work, so at 9:20 a.m., she dropped Katelin off at her now ex-husband place in Partlow.  Little did Lisa know, that was the last time she'd see her daughter.

Even though they were divorced, James and Lisa were on good terms. He seemed happy to see Katelin and excited to hear that she was starting cosmetology school.

At 1:52 p.m., James texted Lisa telling her that he dropped Katelin off at the Springfield Mall Metro Station at her request.

At 2 p.m., Lisa gets another text, this time from Katelin's phone. 

The airport is 21 minutes away from the metro station.

Katelin's friend, Kevin, said that they were really close friends, and even dated in the past. He was shocked that Katelin had never text him to tell him that she was leaving. He said that that was very uncharacteristic of her.

Later, Lisa learned that Katelin's fiancee had received a text from Katelin's phone earlier that day. 

Lisa got nervous when Amber had texted her saying that Katelin wasn’t coming home, she needed a new flight, something was wrong with her flight. Lisa continued to call and text Katelin but got no answer.

At 7:15 p.m., almost two hours after Katelin had missed her flight, Lisa received two final texts from Katelin’s phone that alarmed her.

“It didn’t sound right. It didn’t look right because it was two messages,” said Lisa. “And she doesn’t do that. She’ll wait for you to respond, and then she’ll send another one. It wasn’t her style.”

Lisa was on her way home from work, so she pulled over to the side of the road to quickly call her daughter back. Katelin's phone went straight to voicemail.

Amber also received a strange message from Katelin. This was before Lisa received those final texts. Through Facebook Messenger Katelin said she couldn’t come back because she had cheated on her. Amber said the message didn’t “sound” right, as if it wasn’t coming from Katelin.  Amber also claimed that they had no problems in their relationship and that if Katelin did cheat, she would have called her up to discuss it.

Two days later, Lisa went to the local police station and filed a missing person’s report after friends and family had failed to get a hold of Katelin. 

While filing out the paper work, police informed Lisa that 50 miles south of the airport, and just a few miles from where James lived, a road crew had just found Katelin's blue suitcase in a drainage ditch in the 6600 block of River Road outside Fredericksburg.  

Investigators said the suitcase was scuffed up and one of the wheels was missing, suggesting it had been tossed out of a moving vehicle. Katelin's ID, wallet, glasses, cash, plane ticket, phone charger, and credit cards were still inside her luggage. Katelin's phone, clothing, and high school diploma were missing. 

At this point, detectives pulled up Katelin's phone records, as well as James. They want to see if they can determine why Katelin's luggage was found so far away from the metro station and the airport. They also want to double check and see if there was any discrepancies in Jame's statement about dropping Katelin off at the metro station when he said he did.

When James texted Lisa at 1:52 p.m., saying he’d just dropped Katelin off at the airport, his cell phone pinged close to his home.

When Katelin's phone had sent the text at 2 p.m. to Lisa, claiming she was at the airport, her phone pinged at a location more than 30 miles from the Springfield Metro stop, where James claimed to have dropped her off.

When Lisa had received those two final texts from Katelin's phone at 7:15 p.m, Katelin's phone was pinged in Stafford, less than 15 miles from where her luggage was found.

Since Katelin, nor James or his vehicle, were ever picked up on any cameras in or around the airport or metro station, investigators believe that she never left the area around James' house.

James was now a person of interest in Katelin's disappearance.

James had told Lisa that he had to be to work at 3 p.m. on the day that Katelin disappeared. He called in sick that day. 

When police searched James' vehicles, his computers and confiscated his cellphone, they didn't find anything incriminating. Although, they were not able to get access into James' phone.

James had agreed to take a polygraph test, but when the time came, he didn't go through with it. 

Something else came out about Katelin's visit to her hometown. Katelin had spent her last night in Virginia partying with a friend from high school and the friend’s boyfriend. Katelin later told her Keven of what transpired at the party. 

“Her boyfriend got really really really drunk and then she kissed me and then he kissed me. They did everything to me and each other. I don’t know how to feel or anything. I’ve been depressed and crying all day,” she texted to Keven.

Did Katelin run away, or is there something more sinister going on?

Katelin has no history of mental illness and no history of dropping out of sight.

At the time of her disappearance Katelin was 5'4" tall, 122 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. 

She has a tattoo of five butterflies on her left forearm and a tattoo of three red stars bursting on the top of her foot. She wears eyeglasses with dark frames. Her nose and navel are pierced and the right side of her lower lip is pierced. She also has gauge-type piercings in her ears. She was last seen wearing a dark gray fleece pullover sweatshirt with a Bass Pro Shop emblem, black pants and pink and black Vans shoes.

I'm not sure what happened to Katelin. I'm leaning towards foul play. I'm also not sure that her stepfather was in on whatever happened to her. I'm kinda leaning towards someone else that was close to her having something to do with it.

43 Mexican Students Vanished

On September 26th, 2014, forty-three students from a teachers' college in the town of Ayotzinapa, in Guerrero State suddenly disappeared. The students were in Iguala to commandeer more buses to travel the next week to Mexico City for a yearly tradition that commemorated the 1968 Tlatelolco Massacre. 

Tlatelolco Massacre was a horrific killing of unarmed students and protesters by the armed forces of Mexico. over 300 people were killed and around 1,000 injured.

Since the group of students split up in two different directions, the buses were intercepted at two different road blocks. The buses were fired upon, some people were killed and 43 students were taken. Surviving students and witnesses testified that they were attacked by local police. The surviving students were told that their classmates had been taken under municipal police's custody, so when their parents came to pick them up in Iguala, they went to their headquarters to bail them out. When they arrived at the police station, they were told that their missing classmates were not there. They searched all the other local stations with no luck.

Months after the incident, it was discovered that the students were kidnapped in a scheme that allegedly involved local officials. Allegedly they were later handed over to the criminal group Guerreros Unidos. Confessions procured from members of the gang claimed they burned all 43 bodies in a dumpster after being instructed by the police to murder the students. The whole investigation was highly questioned due to an abundance of discrepancies. 

In November 7, 2014, a press conference was given in which it was announced that several plastic bags had been found by a river in Cocula, Guerrero containing human remains, possibly those of the missing students. Two of the missing students were confirmed dead after their remains were identified.

At least 80 suspects have been arrested in the case, more than half of them were police officers.

To this date, only the remains of the two students have been found.

Mexico's current President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has created a new commission to reopen the investigation.

There are more than more than 40,000 people registered missing in Mexico.

Ibraheem Yazeed Was Allegedly Seen Kidnapping Aniah Blanchard But She Has Yet To Be Found.

She was born in Homewood, Alabama to Angela and Elijah Harris. She was daddy's girl and brought sunshine to everybody. Everybody loved Aniah, she was a bundle of joy. She was a nurturing person. She liked to make sure everybody was OK. She loved playing softball in high school. Aniah wanted to pursue a career in education or nursing. Baby blue was her favorite color.

The last time anyone heard from 19-year-old college student Aniah was just before midnight on October 23rd, 2019 when she spoke to her college roommate. Allegedly, she was on her way home when she disappeared. Earlier that day she had spent time with her family. She was reported missing to Auburn Police the next day.

Auburn Police and Montgomery Police found her black 2017 Honda CR-V, with Alabama tag #49BS356, at an apartment complex, 55 miles away from where Aniah was last seen. There was damage to the SUV which occurred between the time it was last seen and when it was recovered in Montgomery on October 25th. There was also blood found in the SUV suggesting that Aniah suffered a life threatening injury.

On October 27th, a vigil was held at Trinity United Methodist Church.

On Monday, October 28th, the Auburn Police Division released a snippet of a surveillance video captured on October 23rd showing Aniah making a purchase at a convenience store on South College Street just prior to her vehicle being observed traveling southbound on South College Street.

The next day, Aniah's father, spoke out about her disappearance. He said that he was, "just devastated", but hopeful she was alive.

On Thursday, November 7th, 29-year-old Ibraheem Yazeed was announced as a suspect in Aniah's disappearance. Yazeed was out on bond for the charges of Kidnapping and Attempted Murder from another jurisdiction. Yazeed was seen at the same convience store as Aniah. A witness positively identified Yazeed as the man observed "forcing Blanchard into a vehicle against her will and then leaving with her in the vehicle." 

Later on Thursday, Yazeed was arrested in Escambia County, Florida.

On November 20th, Lee County District Judge Russell Bush ordered Yazeed to submit a DNA sample to authorities after prosecutors revealed DNA evidence from a male was found in Aniah's car.

Yazeed was charged with first-degree kidnapping.

A gag order hearing was also set for Dec. 4.

At the time of her disappearance Aniah was 5’6” tall, 125 lbs., brown eyes and brown hair and was last seen wearing a black dress, tan duck boots with black stockings. 

Over $100,000 in reward money is being offered for info on her disappearance.

She was an “itty-bitty thing,” active, bright, tender and spunky. Her family joked that she was talking a mile a minute from the moment she was born. She was a momma’s girl who hated being out past dark. She’d scribble stories on napkins at restaurants, commenting to her mother how one day, the books in her overflowing shelf would be her own.

She was born on July 7th, 1998 in Tennessee to Melissa Baum. Lindsey had a older brother named Joshua. 

Melissa divorced the kids' father and looking for a fresh start, she along, with Lindsey and Joshua, moved to McCleary, Washington. 

McCleary was a small, quiet, town with a population of 15,000 people. It felt safe to Melissa. The kids loved it there and were making friends and doing well, especially Lindsey.

On June, 25th, 2009, 10-year-old Lindsey was just a few weeks away from her 11th birthday. That night, she told her mom that she was frightened that something bad was going to happen to her very soon. When asked what she meant, Lindsey said that she didn't know and that she just had a feeling.

The next day, Lindsey appeared to be back to her normal, happy self. It was a hot, blistering day. 

Lindsey and Joshua had spend day swimming at a friends house a few blocks away. After that, the pair returned home before heading out once more.  

Lindsey and Joshua walked a short distance to the home of Lindsey's friend, Michaela. Along the way, Joshua was sent back home after he and Lindsey had a fight over a bike. Lindsey hung out at Michaela's for a while. At about, 9:15 p.m., she became upset that Michaela couldn't spend the night and headed home. 

Melissa became worried when Lindsey hadn't made it home by her 9:30 p.m. curfew. Around 10 p.m., Melissa called Michaela's home and spoke to her mother, who said she hadn’t seen Lindsey in more than an hour. Melissa tried to ring her daughter's newly purchased cell phone, only to discover it was accidentally left home on its charger. At around 11 p.m., Melissa called 911 and reported Lindsey missing.

The search was on for Lindsey. Local law enforcement, firefighters as well as Lindsey's family and friends did a search of the immediate neighborhood. Melissa kept driving around hoping she'd find Lindsey on the side of the road somewhere.

The search continued for 10 days and involved over 240 people. Helicopters flew overhead and cadaver dogs were brought in. Even police on horseback joined in.

Police dive teams searched the water and behavioral analysts were brought in but none of this fruited any clues as to Lindsey's whereabouts.

Later it was found out that prior to Lindsey's disappearance, Lindsey and Micheala had been at the local park. A man came in on them while they were in the bathroom there. They also had felt like they were being followed by a man in a white vehicle.

This is surveillance footage from a nearby gas station of a vehicle meeting the description that Micheala gave to authorities. 

A 47-year-old man who, police said, provided “inconsistent statements” and lived on the route that Lindsey had taken home that fateful day, had his house searched. Nothing was found there either. He remains a person of interest.

Investigators also searched the home of local jewelry/pawn shop owner Tim Hartman. 

His shop was on the street where Lindsey disappeared. Tim had previously volunteered to take Melissa out to search for Lindsey. He had denied being in McCleary during the hours that Lindsey had disappeared. Tim said he was out of town training as a part of being a volunteer firefighter.

Surveillance footage from a local store in McCleary proved that he was lying. During the search, ropes and handwritten notes about Lindsey’s disappearance were discovered. He remains a person of interest.

In 2014, police investigated whether a man who had been charged with sexually abusing a child could have had anything to do with Lindsey’s case. As far as i know, he was never charged in her case.

During the summer of 2017, three elderly brothers known as the Emery brothers were arrested 17 miles away from Lindsey's home and charged with possession of pornography. Investigators searched their home for a possible connection to Lindsey. Writings that indicated desires to kill children and an "obsession" with young girls were found. Police also searched the home of another one of the brothers, who is now deceased. He lived 30 minutes away from Lindsey's home. They have yet to be charged as well.

Also in 2017, a hunter found human remains in a remote area of Eastern Washington, over three hours away from Lindsey’s home in McCleary. The remains were sent to Quantico, Virginia for forensic testing. 

On May 10th, 2018, sadly, investigators announced that the remains had been positively identified as Lindsey. Her case is now classified as a homicide and police are looking for a suspect.

A remembrance garden was dedicated to Lindsey this year at Beerbower Park in McCleary. Melissa said the garden was a place where Lindsey’s “spirit could be felt, her laughter be heard.”

Kenneka was born on May 27th, 1998 to Tereasa Martin. She was a beautiful, loving and caring person who opened her heart to all. She always kept and showed that she had a heart of gold.

On Friday, September 8th, 2017. 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins left her West Side home to go with friends to celebrate a job that she had just gotten at a nursing home. Kenneka told her mom that they were going bowling and to the movies, but that is not what happened. Kenneka and her friends went to another friend's birthday party on the 9th floor in Room 926 of the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare hotel in Rosemont, a suburb of Chicago. On the way to the hotel, they stop to pick up a Bluetooth speaker, a bottle of Hennessy Cognac, some energy drink and some marijuana.

The party started at 11:30 p.m. Kenneka allegedly was sad that night because her boyfriend was in jail. Throughout the night Kenneka would get up and dance a little and then sit back down and become sad. 

Multiple people saw Kenneka drink straight from a bottle of Hennessy during the party. One person claimed that Kenneka drank most of one bottle. An acquaintance who arrived at the party noticed that Jenkins appeared to be swaying back and forth as she embraced him in a hug.

Kenneka's sister said the last contact she had with Kenneka was at around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 9th, via text message.

6 minutes later, a Facebook live video appeared to show the party. The video featured a woman in mirrored sunglasses talking to the camera. Reflected in her glasses was the other side of the hotel room, where Jenkins appeared to be sitting.

At 2:17 a.m., Kenneka posted a Snapchat video that appeared to show her in a hotel bathroom. 

Around 3 a.m., Kenneka and her friends left the party and Kenneka realized she didn't have her keys or her phone. She stood in the hallway by a ninth-floor elevator while her friends went back to the room to look for her belongings. When they came back about 15 minutes later, Kenneka was gone. Kenneka's friends desperately for her, but it was no use, there was no sign of her. Her friends then called Kenneka's mom and told her what happened and that Kenneka didn't have her phone or keys.

It was about 5 a.m., when Kenneka's friends returned to her mother's home with the car that Kenneka had borrowed from  Tereasa. Tereasa and members of the family went straight to the hotel to look for Kenneka. Tereasa asked if the hotel staff would look at the surveillance footage to see if it would help to located Kenneka. The staff refused and said that they could only look at video at the police's request.

At about 7:15 a.m.,  a frustrated and worried Tereasa called Rosemont police from the parking lot of the hotel. By now she and other relatives and friends have been at the hotel for at least an hour. During the call, the dispatcher suggested to Tereasa that she wait a couple of hours, go home and relax and see if her daughter shows up. He suggests that Kenneka probably was drunk and went home with some other friends. Tereasa expressed her concerns that her daughter had been drinking and that she had left her phone behind.

Tereasa and the rest of Kenneka's friends and family proceeded to knock on many guests' doors from the top floor to the bottom, until a hotel employee called 911 to complain. It was now 8:29 p.m. and officers showed up to the hotel. After talking to Tereasa, police asked to view surveillance videos and are shown the video of Kenneka and her friends as they entered the hotel. Police also checked Room 926, where the party took place, and a nearby stairwell. The hotel staff continued to review surveillance videos. Officers left the hotel but told the family to contact them with any new information.

At 10 p.m., footage was found of Kenneka stumbling through the hotel at 3:25 to 3:32 a.m. 

Kenneka was in the elevator and probably pushed the LL button inside of the L button. 

So when the doors opened, she could have thought that it was the lobby. 

Kenneka exited the elevator and staggered down the hall. She undoubtedly was highly intoxicated and had to lean on walls for support. 

She went up a small ramp and continued down the hall. 

In doing so, she is still leaning and walking into walls.

Kenneka came out of the hall, noticed the conference doors in front of her and turned left to go down another hall.

She continues to stumble and stagger down the long hallway. 

It seems like she was pushing on a door or two, maybe searching for a way out.

Kenneka walked to the end of the hall, captured by a different surveillance camera. Kenneka was off camera for less than a minute. At the end of the hall was a set of double doors. 

She went through those doors, through a second set and found herself in the kitchen.

Kenneka was picked up by a different camera, still walking through the kitchen.

Then she walked out of the kitchen through a different set of double doors and back down the hall.

Kenneka almost tripped over the stairs and then decided to go right towards the water fountain.

She came back and then went into the men's restroom.

A few seconds later she came back out of the bathroom and went back by the water fountain again.

Kenneka turned around, came back down the hall and through the double doors again and into another kitchen.

Once in the kitchen, she went up these stairs and through double doors and into another kitchen.

Kenneka walked to the back and disappeared.

At September 10th, 12:23 a.m., a hotel worker walked through the empty kitchen, goes into the corner where the freezer is located, just outside of the camera's view. 

He then came back out and  summoned police. 

Kenneka is discovered in a cooler inside a freezer, lying on her side with her face down. One of her shoes is off. A paramedic finds no cardiac activity and says her body is frozen.

About 1:15 a.m., police bring Kennekas' mother, into a conference room to inform her that she has been found dead.

At 4:52 a.m., Kenneka's covered body is removed from the freezer on a stretcher. She is wheeled into the empty kitchen, where a worker places a blanket over her and removes the covering from her head and face.
At 5:07 a.m., Kenneka's mother and sister, escorted by officials, enter the kitchen to identify the body. They are taken around the corner, outside of the camera frame, to view the freezer where Jenkins was found.

Kenneka's mother freaked out and ran out of the hotel.

Kenneka's death was ruled as accidental and caused by hypothermia from exposure to cold, with alcohol intoxication, and the presence of a prescription drug used for treating migraines and epilepsy, listed as significant contributing factors.

Three weeks after her death, Kenneka was laid to rest. More than 1,000 people, many who never knew her, turned out for Kenneka's wake and funeral at the House of Hope Church.

The whole thing seems like an accident, but i do find something odd. Kenneka, being that inebriated, how did she make it up those stairs? That part is just weird. You think she would have fallen while walking up those with the way she was staggering around. I do think the hotel has some fault in this story. They had noise complaints from the party that Kenneka was at. Plus, at one point, they knew that underage drinking was involved. They should have checked their surveillance footage earlier or tried to get a hold of someone who could. No matter the age, Kenneka had no cell phone and was very intoxicated. She could have fallen down stairs or been kidnapped by someone. They should have had more safety precautions taken with that kitchen. What if a little kid had wandered down there and got hurt or died? Oh and, the credit card that the person used to pay for the hotel room was stolen. They didn't check the ID of the person that paid for the room that well did they. If they ha, maybe the party wouldn't have happened at all.

Whatever happened to Kenneka, i would never stay at that hotel in a million years.
