UPDATE: 07/01/2020 Vanessa's body was found encased in cement by Texas Equu Search. She was found a few feet away from where the items were found on the 26th.
Vanessa's sister, Mayra, had previously met Robinson. "I met him not knowing that he had something to do with it," Mayra said, according to KTRK. "I felt something was telling me that he did something and I wasn't wrong apparently. He still had the nerve that day to laugh in my face. And apparently now, he kills himself. Why? I don't know. But whoever is responsible has to pay and we demand a Congressional investigation."
I think Vanessa was right and Fort Hood is evil. Something needs to be done about the corruption on this base. People need to be held accountable for helping conceal Vanessa's murder and making sure nothing like this happens again. There has been other soldiers that went missing, some of their bodies have even been found recently due to the search for Vanessa.
Besides soldiers going missing and being murdered, there has been busts of sex trafficking rings on the base. These rings were led by male soldiers threatening female soldiers and forcing them into sex trafficking.
I say this base be investigated fully by an outside party and potentially be shut down.
UPDATE: 06/26/2020 Texas EquuSearch helped scour the Leon River in Bell County for clues and may have found items that might be linked to Vanessa. The items are being tested as we speak and it might take a little while before we find answers to whether those items belonged to Vanessa or not.
Gloria told Vanessa that she would report the sergeant. Vanessa was frightened for her mother's safety and told her that she would take care of it herself. Vanessa vanished a few weeks later and there is no record of her filing a report.
Vanessa was born on September 30th, 1999 in Houston, Texas to Gloria Guillen. Vanessa loved to jog and has always been avid about sports and learning. While in high school she played soccer and remained active with other physical activities. She graduated in the top 15% of her high school class.
Since Vanessa was 10 years old, she dreamed of joining the army and that is what she did after graduation. By April 20th 2020. she was had the rank of "Private First Class" with the 3rd Calvary Regiment at the Regimental Squadron Headquarters at Ft. Hood.
Based on phone records, 20 year old Vanessa was last heard from at 11:30 a.m. when a text was sent from her phone a text notifying a supervisor of a serial number of one of the weapons she had to review. She went missing in the parking lot of Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters at Fort Hood, a U.S. military post which covers roughly 340 square miles between Waco and Austin. This is home to III Corps and the First Cavalry Division, as well as many tenant units.
Seven days after she disappeared a joint search was underway for Vanessa by military members and local police. Also, various search parties were conducted by her family.
More than 150 people have been interviewed regarding Vanessa's disappearance. Ground and air searches were conducted by the army in the Fort Hood and central Texas region
Vanessa's regiment commander said that they will never stop searching.
Gloria does not trust the U.S. Army handling the investigation into Vanessa's disappearance.
The Guillen's family attorney, Natalie Khawam, stated: "This is on a federal government base. A military base. There has to be more accountability. And [there are] more protections and safeguards than anywhere else. How can you not have these answers? The irony. You talk about all these gate checks and all these security checks... yet someone goes missing? This doesn't happen. And the fact that, she wasn't even supposed to be working that day. She was off that day. Why did they call her in?"
Information on when Vanessa was last seen is based on interviews with people, and oddly no camera video exists. She was also not suppose to be working the day she disappeared. Someone called her in to work.
Vanessa's mother wasn't the only she told about feeling unsafe. She also told other family members and friends.
It was announced today that the Army suspects foul play in her disappearance.
Vanessa's family is clutching onto hope that she is still alive.
