"I bind unto myself today
The strong Name of the Trinity,
By invocation of the same,
The Three in One and One in Three.

I bind this day to me for ever.
By power of faith, Christ's incarnation;
His baptism in the Jordan river;
His death on Cross for my salvation;
His bursting from the spicèd tomb;
His riding up the heavenly way;
His coming at the day of doom;*
I bind unto myself today.

I bind unto myself the power
Of the great love of the cherubim;
The sweet 'well done' in judgment hour,
The service of the seraphim,
Confessors' faith, Apostles' word,
The Patriarchs' prayers, the Prophets' scrolls,
All good deeds done unto the Lord,
And purity of virgin souls.

I bind unto myself today
The virtues of the starlit heaven,
The glorious sun's life-giving ray,
The whiteness of the moon at even,
The flashing of the lightning free,
The whirling wind's tempestuous shocks,
The stable earth, the deep salt sea,
Around the old eternal rocks.

I bind unto myself today
The power of God to hold and lead,
His eye to watch, His might to stay,
His ear to hearken to my need.
The wisdom of my God to teach,
His hand to guide, His shield to ward,
The word of God to give me speech,
His heavenly host to be my guard.

Against the demon snares of sin,
The vice that gives temptation force,
The natural lusts that war within,
The hostile men that mar my course;
Or few or many, far or nigh,
In every place and in all hours,
Against their fierce hostility,
I bind to me these holy powers.

Against all Satan's spells and wiles,
Against false words of heresy,
Against the knowledge that defiles,
Against the heart's idolatry,
Against the wizard's evil craft,
Against the death wound and the burning,
The choking wave and the poisoned shaft,
Protect me, Christ, till Thy returning.

Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,

Christ in hearts of all that love me,

Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

I bind unto myself the Name,
The strong Name of the Trinity;
By invocation of the same.
The Three in One, and One in Three,
Of Whom all nature hath creation,
Eternal Father, Spirit, Word:
Praise to the Lord of my salvation,

Salvation is of Christ the Lord."
-St. Patrick's Day Prayer

He was larger than life. When he walked into room his presence was known. . Ian was loyal, courageous, funny, loving and a hard working young man. Ian had always been a leader. He had a good spirit and soul. He cherished his heritage, and he wanted nothing but the best for his kids.

He was born on July 31st, 1987 in Cleveland Ohio to Maureen "Mo" Costello and John Bobich. He grew up Irish/Catholic. He had five siblings, two children and a fiancee named Cassandra.

Ian and Cassandra had known each other since childhood and were together for 12 years. They got together in 2004.

In December of 2013, Ian was released from prison after serving a seven-year federal prison sentence for conspiring to sell cocaine, and an additional year for violating probation. He turned his life around and he moved with Cassandra to Anchorage, Alaska. He worked on the North Slope and then became a sheet metal worker for the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local Union 23 . In his spare time, he loved to fish.

In late 2015. Ian and Cassandra's son was born.
Ian Alex Bobich, 29, was found shot to death outside this Elm Street apartment building just before midnight Monday on Government Hill. (Erik Hill / Alaska Dispatch News)
On October 24th, 2016, Ian and his family were living at the Government Hill apartment building at 831 Elm street in Anchorage, Alaska. The neighborhood was a quiet one, where children played outside and residents greet one another during walks.

Ian had went out to get formula for the baby. Just before 11 p.m. Ian's neighbors called police when they heard gunshots coming from the apartment building. When police arrived they found 29-year-old Ian dead outside.

Charles Gibson, a retiree from printing work on Fort Richardson who lived in another portion of the Elm Street building, had just gotten home at the time of the shooting. He didn't see anything, but heard 4 to 5 gunshots. He thought that someone was shooting in the air and along with another bystander he quickly went inside for cover.

There has been no speculation of what the motive might have been and Ian's shooting his unsolved.

Ian's friend, Orlando Santaella Jr., said that before the shooting Ian was moving back to Cleveland to take a similar job. He was in the process of selling things to make his move easier.

After Ian's murder, Cassandra moved back to Ohio.

Mars Hill Massacre: The Murders Of The Roberts Family.

The Mars Hill Murders

James Columbus, Mae Bell, Charlie L., Walter Mack, Eula Verlin, and Floy I. V. were all children born to Nancy Viola Tanner and Robert Newton Roberts.

James was the oldest being born on November 22nd, 1900. Next to be born was Mae on September 13th, 1902. Then came Charlie on November 1st, 1905. Followed by Walter on April 9th, 1907, Eula on April 24th, 1912 and then Floy on November 25th, 1915. They were all born in Cleburne County, Alabama.

Robert died on September 12th, 1956 and Nancy died on July 6th 1962 followed by Charlie who also died in 1962, but on September 16th.

In 1980, the rest of the siblings were all living in the same 100-year-old farm house in the Mars Hill Community of Celburne County Alabama. Mars Hill was a small, very rural community outside of Fruithurst.

At around 2 p.m. On January 3rd, 72-year-old Eula arrived at their home in the Mars Hill Community from a trip to Cedartown, Georgia. As she approached the front door, she noticed that the screen door was opened and the rug had been bunched up, propping the door open. She then walked into the house and entered the kitchen. Immediately she noticed that the kitchen drawers had been pulled out and the items were thrown to the ground. She had an awful feeling and decided to check on her family.

Eula's first stop was to check on 64-year-old bedridden Floy in her  bedroom. There she discovered Floy and 77-year-old Mae dead on the floor, laying side by side. They both had been shot by a .38 caliber pistol. Floy had evidence of being hit on the head at least twice. Floy still had a thimble on her thumb from sewing. Eula bravely went through the house and saw that there was still food in the oven, cooling down from lunch. She then checked Mack's room. The 72 year old man draped over the bed, still breathing, he had been shot five times with the same .38 caliber pistol his sisters were. Two shots were in the neck and face area. Eula then raced to 79-year-old James' room. James had advanced stage cancer and was bedridden. When she got to his room he was dead. He had been also been shot with a .38 caliber pistol. He was still in his bed and had been hit in the head, just as Floy was. Eula fled the home, jumped into her car, and raced to a nearby home where they called the police.

Sadly, a little over 3 days later Mack would die as a result of his injuries.

Police quickly suspected that is was a robbery, but the only thing that was missing was a 50 year old trunk that only held around $1,500 and some clothing. However, local folklore stated that James kept his lifesaving's of well over $40,000 in that trunk. Many locals did not know was that the Robert's family had begun using a bank some years previous and did not keep much cash on them any longer.
The trunk was found by hunters on Tuesday, December 28th, 1982 in woods three miles from the Roberts’ house. One of the Roberts brothers' suits were inside. Elua positively identified the truck. At the time she said that she hoped that the discovery of the trunk will help solve her sibilings' murders.

"I thought that they would never find the killers, but i also said that they would never find the trunk. You just keep hoping that something will turn up. It has been hard living all this time that whoever did this is still out there."
In 1986, U.S. Marshal Olbert Hiett confiscated a saw offed 12 gauge shotgun from his brother, Charles Hiett, at a family reunion. Olbert kept the gun locked up. Years later his brother and nephew were in jail on an unrelated arson charge. Charles contacted Olbert and asked him to get rid of the gun as it may be related to the Mars Hill Murders. Two of the three guns that were used during the murders were discovered in the possession of the Hiett family. For some reason they were unable to link the guns to any of the individuals that were questioned. Charles did get sentenced to two life terms in prison for lying to police and hindering their investigation.
Roy Harris and Carlton DeMoss allegedly had intimate knowledge of the crime. In 1984, DeMoss shot himself after telling his wife he had done a horrible act that he couldn't live with. Harris was said to have told anybody that would listen that someone was out to get him. In December of 1984, his body was found on the banks of the Tallapoosa River with a bullet in his skull.

With the alleged perpetrators dead, it is doubtful that the case will ever be solved.

On Thursday, February 2nd, 2006, Eula passed away at age 93 in her home on Cobb St. in Cedartown.

Something That You Probably Didn't Notice In JonBenet's Last Photo. Also, Only One Fingerprint On The Ransom Note?

I don't like posting pictures of people after they have passed, especially little children that have been murdered, but i thought it was relevant in this case. There are other pictures of JonBenet from after she passed in which the hair bow can be seen much better, but i didn't want to show too much of JonBenet.
On the left is the photo of JonBenet after she was found deceased and brought up stairs. On the right is the last known photo of her alive at that Christmas party. She is wearing the same hair bow in both photos.
Fullscreen capture 20190413 194821
This is the same photo as above, you can just see more. You can see that JonBenet is lying on the floor drawing. If this is JonBenet's last photo, why isn't she wearing the dress she had wore to the White's Christmas party? Where is her necklace? According to the autopsy report, she was wearing it when she was found. Better yet, why was this photo just released last year?

Did you know that despite Patsy claiming that she had picked up the note and read it only one fingerprint was found on it and it wasn't hers. The print belonged to a technician that did analysis on it.

Murder By Train? Justice For Kadie And Her Babies.

Baby River Lynn, Kadie Lee Hall Major And Unborn Aadon Robert
Image result for Kadie Lee Hall Major
Kadie had a giving heart. She was so full of life and loved her unborn baby Aadon and 10 month old baby girl River with all her being.

Kadie was born February 9th, 1981 in Marquette, Michigan to Vicki Hall. She married her high school sweetheart, Aaron Major, in 2003. In 2007, River Lynn was born. River had this beautiful little smile that made her just look like an angel.

Kadie was so excited about having children and she wanted a big family. So, when Kadie got pregnant again she was ecstatic. She named the baby boy Aadon.

It was an extremely cold, sleet filled night on January 16th, 2008. That night 26-year-old Kadie's life came to an end along with her cherished little babies.

At 6:43 p.m.Vicki was driving home from an Applebee’s restaurant when she received a call from her daughter. Kadie wanted to go to dinner, but Vicki had just grabbed takeout, so they didn’t meet up. That was the last time that Vicki would hear from Kadie.

At 1:44 a.m., January 17th, Kadie's husband, Aaron, knocked on Vicki’s door. Aaron told her that Kadie was hysterical and paranoid. She thought someone was coming to kill her and then she took off. Then Aaron started talking to Vicki about conspiracy theories involving the government.

Kadie's family began frantically searching for her and the babies. Vicki and Aaron set out searching for her truck at local motels and on the back roads of Moncks Corner. Vicki noticed that something seemed off with Aaron. He wasn't looking out the window for Kadie's truck and he was quiet for the longest time. Then he started talking about conspiracy theories again.

Back at Kadie's house, her sister, Sarah, was waiting alone in case Kadie came home. Some stuff was knocked off of River's dresser. There was clothes on the floor. All of these drawers were all open in the whole bathroom. Sarah noticed a highlighted Bible passage on the kitchen table, "the first born son is to be sacrificed." Sarah had a bad feeling and immediately called her mom to come get her. When Vicki and Aaron picked her up, she noticed that Aaron's hand was swollen.

At 10:05 a.m., Aaron went back home and did a computer search for “WSC talk radio.” Two minutes later, he did a search for “two dead in Berkeley County.”

At 11:31 a.m., Aaron called Vicki to say he just heard on the radio that two bodies had been found after being hit by a train. Vicki headed straight to Oakley Road. She didn't see anything until she was ready to leave, that she when she spotted Kadie's undamaged truck, about 500 feet from the tracks.

Kadie's body had already been found by the tracks around 8:20 a.m. by a railroad worker. Kadie was wearing a dark blue hoodie, a pair of jeans and a black zippered coat. Her wedding rings were in her pocket along with a note that contained scribbles about spiritual warfare and the Antichrist. It was theorized that she had been struck on her side by some object hanging off the train due to a nearly 2-foot cut on her abdomen and a laceration on her inside thigh.

Baby River had drown in the nearby creek. She was dressed in a white turtleneck, pink overalls and pink shoes.

Kadie’s white 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup was parked close to her home, at the end of nearby Oakley Road. A religious book sat inside the cab, along with a diaper bag and nearly $1,000 in cash in various envelopes.

Kadie’s husband, 36-year-old Aaron Major, told investigators that she may have had “postpartum depression.” He claimed that she had became paranoid and distrusting of people. But Dr. Christine Case, Kadie’s obstetrician, claimed that Kadie didn’t appear to have signs of a mental breakdown. And the investigators never talked to Kadie's Dr.

Investigators also let Aaron home unaccompanied the night that Kadie and the babies' bodies were found. And they never took photographs of Kadie's house or did any kind of forensic search.
Vicki wasn't questioned about her daughter's mental state either. And as for the note in Kadie's pocket, Vicki believed that Kadie was documenting her husband's internet searches on their family computer.

Within days Kadie and her babies' deaths were ruled as murder suicide. The theory was Kadie jumped toward the side of the train and the impact hurled River into the creek.

Her family never for one second had believed that Kadie was capable of such an act. Vicki had fought every step of the way to get justice for Kadie and her babies.

The local police treated Vicki like she was just a crazy lady and just ignored her.

Vicki, Sarah and the rest of Kadie's family had suspicions about Aaron that grew with every time he changed details in his retelling of what happened before Kadie took off in the truck the night she died.

At first, Aaron tried to make the funeral private, telling Vicky and her family they were not invited. They ended up going though. Kadie and River were in the same coffin. It was an open casket, Kadie's face was miraculously undamaged. Allegedly, Aaron wanted Aadon's body displayed as well, but he was encouraged not to do this. Aaron did, however eat McDonald's food during the service, just in arms reach of Kadie and the babies. It was said that he never cried, showed any sorrow or never really interacted with anyone there.

Two days after the funeral, Aaron went and had surgery on his broken hand. Even though Vicki and Sarah swore they saw him with a swollen hand before Kadie and the babies were found dead, Aaron claimed that he broke his hand punching a wall at the funeral home. The funeral director was a witness to Aaron punching the wall. Maybe his hand was swollen before he punched the wall and he did it to cover his tracks? Or maybe Vicki and Sarah were mistaken?
Three days after Kadie and the babies were laid to rest, Aaron was brought in for questioning. He was never asked about his bandaged hand.

Vicki found Aaron's Google searches the morning that Kadie's body was found suspect. So, she called every radio station, went to the TV stations. She searched and searched for years, not one person could tell her Oakley Road was ever on the TV or the radio.

After Kadie and the babie's death, Aaron moved in with his parents.

Eleven years later, private investigator, Jessica Sanders, uncovered new information that led to a re-examination of the case on national television and a subsequent decision by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office to reopen the investigation.

There was also a new Sheriff. His name was Duane Lewis he and didn't look forward to meeting with Vicki due to her reputation. Once he met with her however, he realized that she wasn't crazy. He also did things the previous Sheriff failed to do, like talk to Kadie's family and friends about her mental state around the time of her death. After he did so it was quickly ruled out that Kadie had postpartum psychosis.

Investigators also didn't think that she could have made that 6/10th of a mile walk in pitch black on gravel in the rain and sleet carrying a 30-pound baby. And even if she could, they didn't think she would have. They surmised that she would have drove and parked there and then got out, walked up to the train and killed herself.

Investigators started to believe that there had been an argument the night that Kadie and her babies died. That that was the reason the wedding rings were in her pocket, the $1,000 were in her truck and why Aaron had that swollen hand.

They weren't sure why Kadie was on the tracks in the first place. They wondered if she left after the fight with Aaron in pursuit, parked her truck and ran down the tracks with her baby in her arms. Then maybe that Aaron threw her into the train.

Another possibility they were running through their heads were that the crime scene was staged.

There is one thing that Lewis and his team did know is that Aaron lied about hearing about Kadie and the babies getting hit by the train over the radio. Investigators knew for a fact that there was no radio report. They then surmised that Aaron just wanted Kadie and the babies found.

Aaron stopped cooperating with authorities. He also vandalizes Kadie and the babies grave every time Vicki or any member of Kadie's family puts something on there.

In September of 2018,  Berkeley County officials said at a press conference that River did not appear to have been hit by the train. Investigators also believed they identified the wrong train that may have hit Kadie in the first place.

It was also announced in the press conference about Kadie not suffering from post-pardon depression and that Aaron is their only suspect in the case.

For now, there is not enough evidence to prove that Aaron was involved in Kadie and the babies' deaths.

What do you think? Do you think Kadie killed herself and her babies? Or was something more sinister a foot?

In my opinion, i don't think Kadie killed her babies and herself. Whether Aaron killed them or not, i don't know. It does seem that he knows a lot more than he is saying. I believe that they did argue and he followed her to the railroad tracks. Maybe Kadie tripped and fell into the train while she was carrying River, or maybe she was pushed by Aaron. The only living person that i think knows is Aaron. I hope that one day Aaron will tell everything he knows from that night. And that Vicki gets justice for Kadie, River and Aadon.

Amanda Gallion Went Missing And So Did Her Boyfriend, Patrick Ghering, A Few Days Later.

Amanda Dawn Gallion

She enjoyed playing the violin and singing country and western music.

Amanda was born on September 13th, 1983.

During the early morning hours on October 13th, 1997, she was 14 years old when she allegedly started her way to school in Gillette, Wyoming. She never arrived for classes that day. The school didn't notify Amanda's parents she was absent and it wasn't until 6:00 p.m. that her family realized she'd never made it to class.

Her bicycle was discovered by the side of the road near the I-90.
Image result for PATRICK LEE GHERING
And suspicion fell on her 20-year-old boyfriend,  Patrick Lee Ghering.

He was born on May 28th, 1977.

When questioned about Amanda's disappearance, Ghering said he had last seen her at 7:15 a.m. the day she vanished. Police believed he was concealing her, but he denied it.

On October 18th, just six days after Amanda went missing. Ghering too disappeared.

Both Amanda and Ghering have never been seen or heard from again.

Although police initially believed the pair ran away together and some agencies still classify Amanda as a runaway, foul play is possible in their disappearances. Their cases remain unsolved.

In 2000, Amanda's case was reopened after Wyoming authorities were contacted by Montana investigators. At the time, a child predator named Nathaniel Bar-Jonah was the prime suspect in the disappearance of 10-year old Zachary Ramsay in Great Falls, Montana in February 1996. It was believed that Bar-Jonah, whose real name was David P. Brown had eaten Zachary’s remains and served them to guests at cookouts. On October 12, 1997, the day before Amanda’s disappearance, Bar-Jonah had made an unexplained 450-mile road trip from Great Falls to Gillette and checked into a motel at 8:00 p.m. Bar-Jonah was next seen at an antiques mall in Billings, Montana at 2:00 p.m. the following day before he returned to Great Falls that evening.

Bar-Jonah had an extensive history of abducting and sexually assaulting pre-teen boys. Amanda did not fit his typical victim profile, but she did sometimes get mistaken for a boy while riding her bicycle.

21 crushed bone fragments were found buried in Bar-Jonah’s garage, but DNA testing ruled out the possibility that they belonged to Amanda or Zachary Ramsay. Due to lack of evidence, Bar-Jonah was not charged with Zachary’s murder, but he received a 130-year prison sentence for his attacks on other children. He died of a blood clot in a Montana prison in April 2008, at age 51.

In 2007, when a jailhouse snitch named Aloysius Black Crow claimed that a cellmate named James Strahl had confessed to raping and murdering Amanda. At the time, Strahl was awaiting trial for the 1998 murder of a man named William O’Hare and denied any involvement in Amanda’s disappearance. Black Crow testified as a witness at Strahl’s trial, but was not allowed to mention Amanda, and Strahl was found guilty of O’Haire’s murder.

Black Crow was a witness in many trials and his testimony has come into question. In 2008, it was discovered that Black Crow framed a cell mate by getting someone to pose as them confessing in a tape recording.

At the time of her disappearance Amanda was 5'2" tall, 100 pounds
with blonde hair and blue eyes. Amanda's hair was dyed black at the time of her disappearance.

At the time of his disappearance Ghering was 5'5" tall, 160 pounds
with brown hair and brown eyes. His right ear was not fully developed. He had a one-inch scar on his right temple. His hair was in a crew cut at the time of his disappearance.

If you have any information on Amanda or Ghering's disappearances please contact the Campbell County Sheriff's Office at 307-682-7271.
