All Suspects Arrested In Aniah Blanchard Disappearance And Her Remains Have Been Discovered UPDATED

35-year-old Antwain“Squirmy” Fisher was booked on first-degree kidnapping charges early Saturday morning. He is now being held in Alabama’s Lee County Detention Center. According to the arrest affidavit, investigations revealed that Fisher “provided material assistance to Yazeed by providing transportation to Yazeed, and disposing of evidence."

29-year-old Ibraheem Yazeed, was also arrested on first-degree kidnapping charges earlier this month. He was seen at the same gas station when and where Aniah was last seen. A witness positively identified Yazeed "forcing Blanchard into a vehicle against her will and then leaving with her in the vehicle."

The final suspect, David Johnson Jr., was arrested in Montgomery on November 25th and is charged with hindering prosecution.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Auburn police determined that human remains discovered in a wooded area of Macon County, Alabama, on Monday, were that of Aniah.

The last time 19-year-old college student Aniah was seen was on October 23rd, 2019. Her black 2017 Honda CR-V, was found at an apartment complex, 55 miles away from where Aniah was last seen. There was damage to the SUV which occurred between the time it was last seen and when it was recovered in Montgomery on October 25th. There was also blood found in the SUV suggesting that Aniah suffered a life threatening injury.
