Missing Lashaya Stine

Lashaya was born February 8th, 2000 to Sabrina Jones. Her mom said she was a good kid and never had been in any trouble.
She had received an internship at the University of Colorado Hospital.

Lashaya was last seen on July 15, 2016 in Aurora, Colorado. She left her residence at 2 A.M. and was last seen in the area of E. Montview Boulevard and N. Peoria Street, Aurora, Colorado.
She had a job interview for July 16th.
She never showed up.
She has not made attempts to contact family or friends.
She is a George Washington High School honor student.
“She left the house in the wee hours of the morning,” Her mother said. “We believe she met someone.”
It seemed as though she was planning to return.
She left her wallet with money in it, her phone and charger and clothes in her room.

“It has been pure devastation. The fact that I haven’t seen her face, or heard her voice for months is the most horrible thing.” Her mom said.

She thinks her daughter is alive, but fears she is in the hands of sex traffickers.

A number of people have told her, and other family members, they have seen the teen in East Colfax, on a desolate stretch lined with cheap motels, where prostitution and drugs are rampant.
Those witnesses have told her that her daughter’s captors keep her drugged.
When she informed the police about this, her daughter's captors took her to Kansas City, Kansas.
She hasn't had any new tips come from that area since.

She received a tip from Facebook.
“I got contacted through Facebook by another young lady whose sister’s boyfriend knew what was going on,” Jones said. But he refused to talk to detectives.

Denver-area people who know about her daughter are afraid to come forward, she said.

There is a $15,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Stine, should call 911, or contact Aurora Police Sgt. Chris Poppe at 303-739-6130, Aurora police at 303-627-3100, Crimestoppers at 720-913-7867, or the Bring Our Missing Home tip line at 810-294-4858.
This is a video from her family last year.
If you are still alive out there Lashaya, your mom wants you to know...

“I wish there was some way I could talk to her and let her know that it’s not too late, don’t give up on your life. She needs to hear my voice.”

At the time of her disappearance Lashaya had Brown eyes, was
150 lbs with long black hair that she usually wore it in a bun. She was 5 ft 6 inches tall with a quarter sized round scar on her chest.
