UPDATE: Lori Cox and Chad Daybell were located in Hawaii. Their is no evidence of Tylle and Joshua being there with them. Lori and Chad have 5 days to bring the kids in.
Tylee Ashlyn Ryan and Joshua Jaxson “JJ” Vallow
Tylee was born on September 24th 2002 to Lori and Joseph Anthony Ryan Jr. She was on the Honor Role as a Freshman at Kapaa High School in Hawaii.
JJ was a beautiful, intelligent 7 year old with the biggest heart, most beautiful smile and had life challenges of a level 2 boy on the Autism spectrum. Early intervention allowed him to flourish beyond all expectations.
JJ was born on May 25th, 2012 in Louisiana. JJ. He was later diagnosed with Autism and ADHD and prescribed medication.
On May 25th, 1998, Stacey Cox Cope, the sister of Lori and Alex Cox, died supposedly of diabetic shock. Only Alex was at home with her and he had used her credit card while she was dead in the home.
In 2001, Lori married Joseph Anthony Ryan Jr. They had daughter Tylee together. Joseph also adopted Colby. On August 13th, 2004, Lori and Joseph filed for divorce. Lori was in the courts trying to gain full custody of Tylee for several years. On May 18th, 2005, their divorced was finalized.
Lori married Leland “Charles” Anthony Vallow on February 24th, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was a beautiful soul who lived life to the fullest. He was a devoted father. He went far beyond the call of duty and expected nothing in return. He was fun loving, kind, understanding and compassionate.
On July 11th, 2019 at 8:30 a.m., Charles arrived at Lori's home in 5500 block of S. Four Peaks Place, Chandler, Arizona, to pick up J.J. and take him to school. Lori, Tylee, J.J., and Lori's brother Alex Cox were there at the time. An altercation occurred and Cox got hit in the head with a baseball bat. He then shot Charles twice in the chest, killing him. Cox claimed self-defense and no charges were filed. According to Charles and Lori's property manager, Joe Pongratz, neighbors reported a pool party at Lori's house later that day with "loud music and lots of people swimming."
Charles’ lawyer Steven Ellsworth, was told by Charles months before his death that “I want to make sure that everyone knows that if something happens to me, Lori and Alex did it.”
In July, J.J.'s beloved service dog Bailey was returned to the kennel from which the dog was purchased.
Shortly after August 31st, 2019, Tylee and JJ moved with their mother to Idaho. Tylee didn't want to leave and had originally planned to move in with the friend in order to remain in Arizona. However, Tylee ultimately decided to go with her family to Idaho for JJ’s sake. She loved her little brother and was very protective.
In August was the last time that JJ had a Facetime conversation with his paternal grandparents. It lasted only 30 seconds.
JJ was last seen on Thursday, September 23rd, 2019. The next day his mother, Lori (Vallow) Daybell unenrolled him from the Kennedy Elementary School in Rexburg, Idaho. She told the principal that she planned on homeschooling him. Only three weeks prior was JJ enrolled in that school.
Tylee graduated from high school early and did not attend school in Rexburg. There are claims that Tylee was last seen in September also.
Also on September 23rd, Chad texts filmmaker Devin K. Hansen “Thanks so much” regarding a project to turn one of his books into a film. This is the last time Hansen would hear from Chad. The project has been canceled.
On October 2nd, 2019, A drive-by shooting attempt was made on Brandon in Gilbert, Arizona. Brandon did not see the driver. The drive-by vehicle was a Jeep registered to the deceased Charles Vallow.
About 2 Weeks Brandon was shot at, Melani text him and said that she had decided to move to Boise, ID.
Police conducted a wellness check on JJ and Tylee on November 26th, 2019 after family members said they hadn't seen them in months. Police said that their mom, Lori (Vallow) Daybell and her new husband, Chad Daybell, repeatedly lied about the location of the children before the couple disappeared as well. Investigators believe the children are in serious danger. Their disappearances follow a series of deaths, all, if not at least one, could be murder.

She was born in 1973 in San Bernardino County, California. She graduated from High School in Rialto, in 1991. In 1992, Lori married her high school boyfriend, with the last name Nelson. They soon divorced.
On October 22nd, 1995, Lori married second husband, William Lagioia, in Travis County, Texas. The next year they had a son together named Coby. On December 17th, 1996, Lori and William filed for divorce. On February 25th, 1998, their divorce was finalized.

Charles was born on August 17th, 1956 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Leland Eli and Tilda June Vallow. Charles was a 1974 graduate of Barbe High School and attended McNeese State University where he received a scholarship to pitch for the McNeese Cowboys. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and cherished many good times with his fraternity brothers. In 1975, as a freshman he set a new McNeese University record by striking out 13 batters in the first college game he pitched. In 1977, he was drafted to play semi-pro ball in Houston.
A gifted athlete, he had a passion for physical fitness and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys & Houston Astros. As an experienced financial consultant, Charles guided thousands of families to safe and secure retirements. He practiced his profession as he lived his life: relationships, integrity, communication, and service to others. At American Equity he was honored for being a top producer and insuring the financial health and security for many.
On April 2018, Tylee's father, Joseph died at his home. His body wasn't found for 3 weeks. The death was ruled a heart attack and he was cremated, meaning no 2nd autopsy could ever be done.

Chad claimed the accident “caused his ‘veil’ that separates mortal life from the Spirit World to stay partially open, so he often feels as if he has a foot in both worlds"
In August 1989 to August 1991, Chad worked part time as a cemetery sexton in Springville.
She was known for her friendly smile and kindness to everyone. She served in numerous capacities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including as Stake Girls Camp Director and as Young Women President. Tammy also served in Relief Society and Primary presidencies. She loved the women and girls she was privileged to serve with.
Tammy’s true focus throughout her life was her family, from serving a delicious dinner each Sunday to remembering every birthday and holiday with gifts. She also loved all sorts of animals, but she especially loved Indian runner ducks. She raised pigeons, chickens, cats, and rabbits, knowing each one by name. She loved gardening, cooking, and playing games with the family. Her laugh will be remembered and cherished.

In May 2019, Chad traveled to West Jordan, Utah to meet actress Valentina and filmmaker Devin K Hansen about making "Chasing Paradise" into a movie.
On May 31st, 2019, Chad canceled his planned appearance at a Preparing A People event due to a “Family Emergency.”

It was a happy childhood with many memories, including trips to the beach, camping at Elfin Forest, and Calico Ghost Town.

As part of her job, she typed thousands of handwritten burial records into a computer database. This helped spark her interest in Family History, which later would become her favorite hobby. Throughout her life she submitted more than 100,000 names for temple ordinance work.

On March 17th, 1999, Chad was featured in an article about publishing his first book “An Errand for Emma.” The book is a fiction story set in 1868 with a teen girl main character that was based on Chad’s then 4 year old daughter’s personality. It is supposedly a romance novel.... that he wrote while thinking of his 4 year old..............
In April 2001, Chad was working for Access Computer Products’ in Provo.
On March 18th, 2003, Chad’s books were pulled from the shelves of Deseret Book stores, allegedly due to an irreverent scene in "Chasing Paradise," where a warrior angel drop-kicks a naughty spirit through a wall. Chad was working as managing editor of Cedar Fort publishing at the time.
Tammy was a computer genius who also had a talent for graphic arts. In 2004, she and Chad founded Spring Creek Book Company, and Tammy wore many hats as their company grew, juggling her role as Chief Financial Officer with designing book covers. She was the true backbone of the company, and she was proud of the dozens of books the company published over the years.
In 2008, Chad and Tammy file for Bankruptcy.
In August 2014, Chad’s mom rented a large cabin in Island Park, Idaho for an extended family vacation trip. On this Idaho trip Chad heard a voice say “You’ll live here soon.”
Also in 2014, Chad first meets Julie Rowe; Chad helped publish her book about a near-death experience she had in 2004. She became a close friend and there was a 3 year period of time where Julie would visit Chad and Tammy in their Rexburg home at least once a month.
Julie Rowe was excommunicated from the LDS church when she inspired a massive prepper craze in September 2015.
In Feb 2015, Chad had a vision of walking a path and heard a voice say, “Moving to Rexburg will be a tremendous blessing to your children and your grandchildren.” A few weeks after that Chad was eating dinner with his family and said “When we move to Rexburg . . .” He had not brought it up before and Tammy wasn’t thrilled but soon Tammy agreed and was looking at real estate in Rexburg, Idaho.
In 2015, the Daybell family moved to Idaho and Tammy became the assistant librarian at Madison Middle School. She later became the librarian at Central Elementary School in Sugar City, Idaho. She was treasured and loved by the staff and students alike.
In May 19th, 2017, Chad announced on his blog the release of his autobiography “Living on the Edge of Heaven” discussing his two near-death experiences and his interactions with deceased relatives.
In the summer of 2017, Chad met author and podcaster Melanie Gibb for the first time after he spoke at a camp out in Northern Utah. Melanie invited him to speak in her hometown of Mesa, Arizona.
In June 2018, Chad finished writing “Times of Turmoil” book series. He contacted Melanie saying he felt he was supposed to speak in Arizona in July.
On June 27th, 2018, Chad announced a book signing on his blog for his book “Reclaiming Liberty”.

In September of 2018, Chad started speaking on a paid podcast called "Glimpses Through the Veil" with the Preparing A People website. Preparing the people is a church that is dedicated to helping physically and spiritually Prepare A People for the Second of Coming of Jesus Christ.

On February 8th, 2019, Charles filed for divorce from Lori, citing that Lori threatening to murder him, stole $35,000 from his business account and claimed to be a reincarnated god among his reasons for wanting a divorce.

Chad and Julie Rowe often talked about a vision they both had years ago where angels told them Tammy would die. In early October of 2019, Julie and Chad allegedly had a phone conversation in which Julie asked Chad if he saw Tammy dying. He replied that he did. They also talked about how Chad wanted to get out of their book business and how Tammy did not. He allegedly told Julie, "I’m ready to get out now and Tammy doesn’t want to get out. When she passes, I’m done, I can’t keep doing this.”
On October 4th, 2019, Tammy visited her parents in Springville, Utah. She was healthy and doing Zumba and a clogging class.

“Something really weird just happened, and I want you to know so you can watch out,” Tammy wrote on her Facebook. “I had gotten home and parked in our front driveway. As I was getting stuff out of the back seat, a guy wearing a ski mask was suddenly standing by the back of my car with a paintball gun. He shot at me several times, although I don’t think it was loaded. I yelled for Chad and he ran off around the back of my house.”
Tammy reported the incident to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office, whose investigators believed it was likely a prank and never found the man. Some believe that it was really Lori's brother and the gun was real and just misfired.
On October 19th, 2019, Family members found 49-year-old Tammy dead in her home. The death was ruled due to natural causes. Chad called Tammy's parents after she died and said she had gone to bed the night before with a terrible cough and never woke up.
On October 22nd, 2019, Funeral services were held and Tammy was buried in Springville, Utah.
Also on the 22nd, Brandon and Melani’s divorce was finalized. Brandon had requested full custody of their 4 children on the grounds that he believed Melani was behind the attempt on his life. He also requested Melani not see the children without supervision. Melani did not show up for court to challenge custody of the children.
The next day, a 2nd memorial service for Tammy Daybell was held in Rexburg, Idaho.
On October 25th, 2019, one of Tylee's friends received a text from her phone. The friend was not sure who exactly sent the message and that it didn't sound like Tylee.
In November 2019, Lori and Chad told a witness that Tylee died in 2017. Chad told another witness that Lori had no minor children.

On November 14th, 2019, Melani was arrested on suspicion of trespassing on Brandon's parents' property in America Fork, Utah. She was released from custody the same day.
Late November 2019, Melani and Brandon's divorce was reportedly finalized around this time. Temporary custody of the couple's four children was granted to Brandon.
Also sometime in November, Melani also married another man who was allegedly a member of Lori and Chad’s cult.
The Next day, Lori and Chad disappeared.
On December 21st, Lori and Chad are named as persons of interest.
On December 23rd, 2019, attorney Sean Bartholick issued statement on the Daybells’ behalf:

On December 27th, Julie Rowe did an interview where she said that she has visions of the kids.

"Lori would say things to me like 'I'm never gonna get divorced again. I'm on my fourth husband.'" Adding, "And then she would tell me, 'You gotta get rid of your husband. We'll just go off and do our own thing.'"
Lori would allegedly say, "It's gonna be the end of the world and we should all just drive off a cliff and kill us and our kids and die all at the same time."
When Tylee was last seen, she had blond hair, blue eyes, 5'0" tall and weighed 160 pounds.
