Ashley Heavy Runner Loring Is One Of Many Native Americans Who Went Missing.

Ashley Heavy Runner Loring was 20 years old when she disappeared from Montana on the Blackfeet Reservation on June 5th, 2017.

She was a college student & recently returned home from studying abroad. Ashley and her sister Kimberly Loring were planning to move her into an apartment in Missoula when she stopped hearing from Ashley.

Kimberly said she believes something happened to Ashley.
She was close to her family and it is unlike Ashley to go so long without contacting them.
Kimberly said that they will not stop until they get the answers they seek.

Ashley Heavy Runner Loring is about five feet two inches tall, weighs around 90 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
She was last seen wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

Ashley and Kimberly grew up spending several months in foster care before going to live with their grandparents and their other siblings. On their grandparents horse ranch they learned how to ride, chopped wood for their grandmother’s wood stove, mucked stalls and swam in a nearby creek until well after the sun disappeared behind the high plains.

Update
Back on December 13th, 2018, human remains were found on the reservation. They have been shipped to a lab in Quantico, Virgina, where they will be analyzed in hopes of identifying them.

Carl Kipp, a Blackfeet Tribal Business Council member and the chairman of the tribe’s law and order committee, said there is a history of unsolved violent crimes on the reservation that has been going on for decades.
“The lack of jurisdiction the tribal police has, that’s why we have such a big problem,” he said.

Did you know that Native Americans living on reservations face violent crime rates two and a half times the national average?

  1. She was last seen running away from a sex traffickers car on the Rocky Mountain front after others saw her leaving the bank in Browning.

    1. Sorry about the late reply DM. There is an article on charkoostra.com entitled
Too little too late and totally unacceptable.

The driver of said vehicle after investigation and discussion is thought to engage in such activity.
The link to the bank was brought up in an online story early on. Kimberley also stated in another online article that ALHR attended a party and memorialized it with friends in a video. She was unaccounted for after the party.
