Famous People That We've Lost So Far This Year: Dick Miller

Dick Miller
Dick Miller appeared in over 180 films. You might remember him from the 1980's movie Gremlins. He played the inebriated Murray Futterman who was yelling about foreigners putting Gremlins in everything including watches. Dick Miller wasn't always an actor.

This Bronx born actor was the son of the son of Russian Jewish immigrants. His mother was an opera singer and his father a printer. Dick made a name for himself in the boxing ring while serving a tour of duty in the United States Navy.  After he finished his tour in the Navy, Dick attended the City College of New York, Columbia University, and New York University, eventually attaining a PhD in psychology. Dick was a writer before turning to acting.

Miller performed on Broadway and also worked at the Bellevue Hospital Mental Hygiene Clinic and the psychiatric department of Queens General Hospital.

In the 1950's, Dick met legendary B-movie producer Roger Corman. He went to star in many of Corman's movies. Dick's biggest role was in 1959, when he starred as a murderous busboy in Walter Paisley's film, A Bucket Of Blood. Dick is also fondly remembered for his supporting role as the flower-eating Burson Fouch in Corman's legendary 1969's film, The Little Shop of Horrors.

Some of Dick’s other films include “The Terminator,” “All The Right Moves,” “Night of the Creeps,” “Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight,” “Amazon Women on the Moon,” and “The Howling.” He also appeared in the music video for Rod Stewart’s song “Infatuation” in 1984. He was also the subject of a documentary, “That Guy Dick Miller” directed by Elijah Drenner, which looked at his long career.

Dick died of natural causes at age 90 on January 30, 2019, in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles. His wife, Lainie Miller, said he died after a heart attack and had congestive heart failure and pneumonia.

This Isn't The First Time That Former President Bill Clinton's Name Came Up With A Pedophile's.

There are those out there that thought Jennifer was a nut fabricating stories against Bill Clinton, now with the whole Epstein situation, some people realized that the idea is not so far fetched.
Jenny Marie Moore a.k.a Taskforce, was a former police officer turned investigative journalist and an advocate who investigated abused and trafficked children.

She had a Master's degree in Psychology and often worked with abused and traumatized children.

On August 13, 2018, she was found dead in the Country Inn Suites by Radisson, Washington, D.C. East, in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
This comes just four weeks after reporting Bill Clinton to FBI & DHS for allegedly raping a boy.

Moore had been in the process of investigating allegations by a 26-year-old man claiming, that when he was a young boy, he was sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton and pimped out at private sex parties attended by other D.C. elites.

Moore filed details of the alleged victim’s claims with the Department of Homeland Security, detailing the allegations against Clinton.

She also contacted Homeland Security beginning on July 6th through July 9th.

A week later, she contacted the FBI with identical details about the victim and the allegations against Clinton.

Police are looking closer at her death, after her friend and former F.B.I. agent turned whistle blower, Robyn Gritz, contacted them thinking that foul play might be involved.

Now Bill Clinton is denying that he knew anything about Jeffery Epstein's sex trafficking.

Investigative journalist Conchita Sarnoff said Monday that former President Bill Clinton isn’t telling the truth. Will she be the next to be "rubbed out"?

Symbols That Might Not Mean What You Think.

The "Jesus" Fish
The actual name for this symbol is ichthys or ichthus. It is one of the most recognized symbols used in Christianity. It's use in the religion dates back to 2nd century AD after it was adopted from the Pagans. The symbol's origins date back even further. It has been associated with female fertility and Greek goddesses such as Aphrodite and Venus. The vagina use to be seen as sacred, since it was responsible for bringing life into the world.

Mistletoe
It's actually a parasite. Mistletoe attaches itself to other plants and shrubs, stealing away its host’s food and water. This can lead to the host plant’s weakening, disfigurement, and eventual death. Unlike many other parasitic plants, mistletoe has chlorophyll, so it can also produce food from the sun’s energy through photosynthesis. Mistletoe has been described as a cancerous growth.

There are many types of Mistletoe and can be found all over the world. The kind of mistletoe that’s picked and sold during the holidays typically is plucked from trees such as cottonwood, sycamore, willow, and ash.
Mistletoe can be spread by birds and their droppings. Most species of mistletoe produce small berries that are white, pinkish, or green-tinged and are delicious to birds. When the berries are eaten, they stick to the birds’ beaks and feet. The birds then carry the berries to other plants and trees, where the mistletoe can attach and sprout.

Mistletoe is extremely difficult to get rid of. It tends to grow up high in the canopy where the sunlight hits, making it hard to access. Even if you prune it, buds embedded in the host plant’s branches mean it’s likely to grow back.

The druids worshiped mistletoe that grew from oak trees. They believed it was a symbol of fertility, strength and manliness and hanging it in your home would bring you these qualities. Cutting from the tree was also seen as a form of ritual castration.

The Norse had their own legend of Mistletoe. The viking god, Baldur, grandson of the Norse god Thor, woke up one morning certain that each and every plant and animal on earth wanted to kill him. His mother as well as his wife consoled him, but all to no avail. As Baldur cowered in his room, half-wild with fear, his mother and wife decided to ask every living thing to leave their poor Baldur in peace. They begged the kindness of the oak tree, the pig, the cow, the crow, the ant and even the worm. Each agreed, but they had forgot about mistletoe Then, as Baldur paused to celebrate his release from torment, he felt a pain in his chest as an arrow poisoned with mistletoe pierced him. He died, but then was brought back to life and decided that the plant must not be a symbol of death and so it must never touch the ground.

Pentagram
A pentagram is the shape of a five-pointed star. Pentagrams were used symbolically in ancient Greece and Babylonia, and are used today as a symbol of faith by many people that practice Wicca. Even though the Christian religion has deemed the pentagram to be evil, in pagan traditions it is a symbol of protection from evil. And the inverted pentagram symbolizes conquering evil.

In early Christianity it represented the five wounds of Christ on the cross.
The upward facing point represents the spirit, while the others represent water, fire, earth and air.

The Inverted Cross
The Cross of Saint Peter or Petrine Cross is an inverted Latin cross traditionally used as a Christian symbol. When Peter was to be crucified he requested to be hung upside down, because he didn't believe he was worthy enough to die as Jesus did.

In recent times also used as an anti-Christian symbol. Satanist have adopted it as one of their most popular symbols.
The inverted cross is still used by Catholicism and is currently on the pope's throne and hat.

Uncle Sam
Uncle Sam started out in satirical comics about the United States Government. Taken from a mixture of Yankee Doodle Dandy and the character Brother Johnathan. Uncle Sam was used to embody the U.S. government and political system and show how dishonest and incompetent it is.

According to legend, came into use during the War of 1812 and was supposedly named for businessman Samuel Wilson, who supplied the army with barrels of beef during the war.

It wasn't until after the American Civil War that the Uncle Sam image was used on recruitment posters.

Uncle Sam eventually became the unofficial symbol of the USA and it's military.

Rabbit's Foot
The belief the foot of a rabbit bringing good luck  is held by individuals in a great number of places around the world. The tradition of cutting off a rabbit's foot and using it as a good luck amulet has existed for centuries across many cultures. The tradition got it's start in Europe in 600 BC.

It is also associated with African American voodoo folklore, which believed that witches disguised themselves as rabbits and in catching one you could inherit it's power. In order to harness the power, the rabbit had to have been shot with a silver bullet, or it had to have been caught in a graveyard. It had to be the left back foot and it had to have been chopped off during a full or new moon.

Swastika
The Swastika wasn't always used as a symbol of evil and prejudice. Before it was adopted by Hitler and used as a symbol of the Nazi party, it started out as a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions. The Swastika is over 12,000 years old and was used in many cultures all over the world before he was perverted into what is stands for today. It is considered a sacred symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism among others. Swastika in ancient Sanskrit means good fortune.

Peace Sign
This universal symbol of peace, love and unity was popularized by Pablo Picasso after World War II, however, it use to stand for something else. The symbol was originally designed in 1958 by British artist Gerald Holton as a symbol for the campaign for the Nuclear Disarmament March. He intended the image to look like a person that was bent over in despair.

Guy Fawkes
You might recognize it as the mask that the group "Anonymous" wears as they fight against corruption. It was designed for the V for Vendetta comic book series that began in 1982. The inspiration for the this was Guy Fawkes. Back in the 1600's, Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up the House of Lords in British Parliament using barrels of gunpowder. He did this in order to kill Protestant King James and replace him with a Catholic head of state. After his capture he was tortured till he gave up his fellow plotters, all of them died, either resisting capture or put to trial, convicted and executed. As Guy Fawkes awaited his punishment on the gallows, he leapt from the platform to avoid having his testicles cut off, and broke his neck.

The Heart
The heart is usually used as a symbol of love and of Valentine's Day. This symbol can be traced back to an ancient plant called silphium, which was a species of giant fennel that used to grow on the North African coastline near the Greek colony of Cyrene. The plant was used by the Greeks and Romans as a natural form of birth control. They used the plant so much, that the plant was extinct by 1st century AD. The symbol also meant sex and health. If you turn the heart upside down, it looks like testicles.

A Murderer Walks Free And A Mother Drives A Caravan To Catch A Killer.

"Every now and then a beautiful angel comes to earth disguised as a human being."
Brittany Evonna Sara Phillips was born on Oct 4th, 1985 in Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida to Dr. Maggie Zingman. She was her mother's best friend. She was always so friendly to everyone. She had energy and light that would really do people in.
When she was little she had long blonde curls that would just cascade around these dark brown eyes and traffic would stop just so people could take a look.

She was a child model and actress.

As she grew older, she became interested in athletics. She ran track, was involved in swimming, and experimented with shot put. She was very active as a gymnast and wanted to get back into modeling despite her insecurities about being short, which she would joke that she inherited from her mother.

Brittany's father was not really an active presence in her life outside of her early childhood, which is when her parents divorced. Both Brittany and her brother, Josh, would be raised by their mother Maggie.

Brittany and her brother, Josh, were close, but they did have sibling rivalry like most siblings tend to do. Josh was only 15 months older than Brittany, so the two were just a grade or so apart for the entirety of their childhoods.

The death of her paternal grandmother to cancer inspired her to study stem cell research. Brittany attended her mother's alma mater, Eckerd college, in St. Petersburg, Fla on a full Chemistry scholarship. Due to Brittany's keen intellect, she was younger than most freshmen. After a year she moved back and into apartments right next to her old high school and went to Junior college. She lived by herself in a quiet second story apartment  complex named Gleneagles Apartments.

It was September 24th, 2004, and this was the last time Joshua saw his sister alive was sometime between 6 and 7 p.m. in the junior college cafeteria before she headed off to the doctor's office.  Around 9 p.m. Brittany called her mother stating that she had terrible allergies and could not get into a clinic. They talked about calling and getting her appointment for that Friday. She thanked her mom and told her that she was going to drop off her friend that had came with her to the clinic and that then she was going to bed. Brittany and Maggie then told each other "I Love You."This would be the last time Maggie heard from her daughter.

For the next three days, Maggie heard nothing from her daughter and her many calls were unanswered and her messages unreturned. The first two days, Maggie wasn't that worried, she knew Brittany had a heavy work load at school. By Thursday however, Maggie was worried.

Maggie didn't know, but Brittany hadn't showed up to any of her classes and this prompted a worried friend to call police. When the police did a welfare check they found signs of an altercation. They also found Brittany raped and strangled to death on the floor by her bed. She had been laying there for three days.

It was about one in the morning and the rain was crying from the sky. There was a knock on Maggie's front door, when she answered it, there was a sheriff standing there, staring down at a piece of paper. He asked if she was Maggie Zingman and when she answered yes he briskly stated “You need to call the Tulsa police. Your daughter’s been murdered.” And then walked away. Maggie was in shock and didn't know what to do.

Maggie lived 50 miles away from Tulsa and by the time she arrived at Brittany's apartment it was swarming with investigators. Brittany's body had already been taken to the medical examiner's office.

Maggie never was able to see Brittany's body. Her family was Jewish, so she was never embalmed. And between that and her being murdered and autopsied, the funeral director wouldn't let Maggie set eyes on her baby girl that was once so full of life. So Maggie had to say goodbye to Brittany with her body head to toe with a blanket. Maggie ran her finger down her nose and said, "I'm sorry Britty. I'm sorry this happened, I'm sorry I didn't protect you, I'm sorry that they won't even let me touch you."
Brittany was laid to rest on what would have been her nineteenth birthday. Her pink casket was carried from Tulsa’s Temple Israel as Maggie clutched a teddy bear. Brittany was interred at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

8 months after Brittany's murder, her maternal grandmother died of cancer as well.

Brittany's two-story apartment faced a storage unit. The cluster of eight apartments shared a common attic space, which made each apartment accessible to the other. The window screens in Brittany’s apartment had been taken off possibly by Brittany or the perpetrator. Police theorized that the killer could have gone through the windows or had climbed onto her balcony and gone in through those doors. DNA was found at the scene, and after six months the police had a DNA profile They have tested it against thousands of local suspects, along with approximately one million suspects in CODIS and to this day there is no match.

After two years of no leads and no national media attention Maggie came up with a brilliant idea to help not only catch her daughter's killer, but help victim's family's throughout the United States and to educate communities about the DNA process.
This is when Caravan To Catch A Killer was born. She has driven over 200,000 miles  and has visited 48 out of 50 states to spread her daughter’s story.

In 2018, a break in the case brings the police one step closer to capturing Brittany’s killer. A company named Parabon Snapshot released a DNA phenotype composite image of the person who raped and murdered Brittany.
Using new technology, the company was able to take a DNA sample and create an image that will highly resemble the person. Their website offers examples of these images, including comparisons between suspect composites and the arrested individual. The composite was designed to look like a person in their twenties. It is not known how old he was then or how old he is now.

The killer of Brittany Phillips is likely a white male of Northern European descent, with hair that is either dark blond or brown, and eyes that are either blue or green.

This individual did not appear to be anyone that Brittany's loved ones knew. He didn't really looking like any of her friends or classmates, but Maggie says that he looks like the type that Brittany would be attracted to.

Authorities believe that the Brittany's killer may be someone who is up and/or alone at night. That he may have sexual problems, which he struggles to deal with on a regular basis He may be into high risk behaviors that are dangerous to himself or others (or may cause pain, such as painful sex acts) The killer may be someone with anger issues, who constantly deals with issues of self-worth. He may or may not have been previously arrest for rape; however, if he was, he was likely charged with crimes such as "Endangering" or "Public Indecency" (crimes that won't put him on investigators' radar and/or won't force him to register as a sex offender) He may live outside of the Tulsa area. He also may or may not have traveled in September or October of 2004, and upon his return, starting acting different (anxious, angry, depressed, engaging in heavy drug/alcohol abuse, etc.) The killer may have been outgoing, but possibly became more withdrawn following the murder. He may have attempted to hurt or kill himself in the past (he may have succeeded in the years since). He may drive along I-35, I-44, or I-40 because of work (or traveled through the Tulsa region semi-regularly for other reasons). He may have had a public service job that gave him access to customer addresses (jobs such as utilities worker, cell phone provider, etc.)

Maggie will never give up on getting justice for Brittany. Any tip, no matter how small matters.  And any help you can give, whether it be donations, prayers or simply sharing her story is appreciated and goes a long way.

Will Madeleine McCann's Disappearance Soon Be Solved?

Investigators in Portugal and the U.K. say they have two of the strongest leads they have found in recent years.

48 year old German pedophile Martin Ney told a prison inmate in Germany something only Madeleine ’s kidnapper could know. He is serving a life sentence in a German prison for the murder of three prepubescent boys between 1992 and 2001. He is also under investigation for the suspected murder of two other children, whose bodies have never been found, and the sexual abuse of a dozen others. He resembles the photo composite released by Portuguese police based on witness accounts at the time Madeleine disappeared.

When Ney would steal children, he would wear a black ski mask and sneak into their rooms while they slept when their parents had stepped out. He often sedated the children to remove them quietly. He was working at a homeless center run by an evangelical church in the same area where Madeleine disappeared.

The second suspect they are investigating is an alleged accomplice of Ney. After watching a Netflix documentary about Madeleine's disappearance, a retired worker of Praia Da Luz resort recognized the man in the footage. She said that she had a run in with the unnamed suspect, who she says she caught stealing from the Ocean Club resort. When she confronted the man, he threatened her.

Investigators think that the second suspect may have been working with Ney as part of a sex-trafficking ring that preyed on children in the area at the time. A number of resort employees have given evidence over the years that they recognized both Ney and someone who is now believed to be the second man in and around the resort.

The second man was still working in the area when authorities brought him in for questioning.

America's Oldest Teenager: Dick Clark

Dick Clark
Richard Wagstaff Clark was a TV personality known for the shows American Bandstand, $25,000 Pyramid and TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve among others. Sometimes known as "America's oldest teenager," Dick  was one of the most influential figures in popular music. With his show American Bandstand, he helped advance the careers of countless artists, including Paul Anka, Barry Manilow and Madonna.

He was born on November 30th, 1929 in Mount Vernon, New York to Julia and Richard Clark. His only sibling, older brother Bradley, was killed in World War II during the Battle of the Bulge.

In school, Dick was an average student. When he was 10 years old, he decided to pursue a career in radio.

In 1945, Dick was only 16 years old when began working in the mail room at WRUN, a radio station in New York, that was owned by his uncle and managed by his father. Dick was asked to fill in for the vacationing weatherman, and within a few months he was announcing station breaks.

Dick graduated from Syracuse University in 1951 with a degree in advertising and a minor in radio. While attending Syracuse University Dick worked at WOLF-AM.. After graduation, he returned to WRUN for a short time where he went by the name Dick Clay. After that, Dick got a job at the television station WKTV in New York. His first television-hosting job was on Cactus Dick and the Santa Fe Riders, a country-music program. He later replaced Robert Earle as a newscaster.

Dick owned several radio stations. From 1964 to 1978, he owned KPRO in Riverside, California under the name Progress Broadcasting. In 1967, he purchased KGUD-AM-FM
 in Santa Barbara, California.

In 1952, Dick moved to Pennsylvania, where he took a job as a disc jockey at radio station WFIL, adopting the Dick Clark handle. WFIL had an affiliated television station which began broadcasting a show called Bob Horn's Bandstand in 1952. Dick served as a regular substitute host when Horn went on vacation. In 1956, Horn was arrested for drunk driving and was fired. On July 9, 1956, Dick took his place.

Bandstand was picked up by the ABC television network, renamed American Bandstand, and debuted nationally on August 5, 1957. Due to Dick's natural rapport with the live teenage audience and dancing participants as well as the non-threatening image he projected to television audiences, the show was a hit. Many parents were introduced to rock and roll music thanks to Dick. He helped to integrate the dance floors of a "Black and White" America by inviting black dancers to his show in 1958 just one year after American Bandstand started. Under Clark's influence, American Bandstand became one of the most successful and longest-running musical programs of all time.

In 1958, The Dick Clark Show was added to ABC's Saturday night lineup. Viewership exceeded 20 million, and featured artists were "virtually guaranteed" large sales boosts after appearing.

In 1959, a television tribute to Dick had an estimated viewership of  50 million people.

Clark became more invested in the music publishing and recording businesses, and began managing artists, hosting live sock hops, and arranging concert tours.

Dick Clark was inducted in the Hollywood Walk of Fame on February 8th, 1960.

Also in 1960, when the United States Senate began investigating  the practice in which music producing companies paid broadcasting companies to favor their products, Dick became caught up in the scandal. The investigation found he had partial copyrights to over 150 songs, many of which were featured on his show. He denied he was involved in any way, but admitted to accepting a fur and jewelry from a record company president. The Senate could not find any illegal actions by Dick, but ABC asked him to either sell his shares in these companies or leave the network so there was no conflict of interest. He chose to sell and continue on as host of "American Bandstand", which was unaffected by the scandal.

Dick moved American Bandstand from Philadelphia to Los Angeles in 1964. He became more involved in television production. Under his company Dick Clark Productions, he produced such shows as "Where the Action Is", "TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes", and more recently, "So You Think You Can Dance", as well as made-for-television movies. Dick also hosted television's "$10,000 Pyramid", "TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes" with co-host Ed McMahon, whom he introduced to Johnny Carson. He also hosted "Scattergories", and "The Other Half". Clark also had several radio programs, including "The Dick Clark National Music Survey", "Countdown America", and "Rock, Roll & Remember"

Dick Clark said on one episode of The $100,000 Pyramid he married Kari Wigton on 7/7/77. At the ceremony there were 7 candles and 7 people in the wedding party. Actor John Davidson's father officiated at the ceremony, and they asked if he could finish the whole ceremony in 17 minutes, which he did.

In 1972, he produced and hosted the very first edition of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve". New Year's Rockin' Eve soon became a cultural tradition, airing on ABC every year with Clark as host. Neither Dick Clark nor his wife drank, even on New Years Eve.

Dick Clark was a huge Flintstones fan and owned a "Bedrock" inspired estate in Malibu, California worth a cool 3.5 million dollars.

In December 2004, Dick suffered a minor stroke and was unable to host, so Regis Philbin stepped in as a substitute. The stroke had left him speech impaired but he returned to host New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show in 2005 along with “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest.
The following year, Clark returned as co-host alongside primary host Ryan Seacrest. Many were worried about Clark due to his slurred and breathless speech, and he admitted on-air he was still recovering but that he wouldn't have missed the broadcast for the world. The following year, Seacrest became New Year's Rockin' Eve's primary host, but Clark always returned for the countdown.

Dick has received several notable awards including four Emmy Awards, the Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994, and the Peabody Award in 1999. He was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1976, The Radio Hall of Fame in 1990, Broadcasting Magazine Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame.

Dick had been in St. John's hospital in Los Angeles after undergoing an outpatient procedure the night of April 17, 2012. Dick suffered a massive heart attack following the procedure. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful and he died the next morning of April 18, 2012. He was cremated on April 20, and his ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean.

Was JonBenet's Murder Just A Kidnapping Gone Wrong? Bernice Johnson Thinks So.

68-year-old Colorado woman, Bernice Johnson, who is locked up in prison at the Denver Women's Correctional Facility, believes that her former partner and father of her children, Todd Fuss, was involved in JonBenet's murder. Johnson, is of the opinion that the murder of JonBenet was actually a hired kidnapping that had gone horribly wrong.

Johnson claimed that Fuss had help from a man named Michael Helgoth who worked at a junkyard. For many years, Helgoth was part of a theory which stated that there were two intruders, even before Johnson had come out with the theory.

Helgoth was discovered dead, with a stun gun near his hand, in Boulder, Colorado, just a day after the district attorney's news conference that announced that they were getting closer to the killer. The Ramsey's private detective thinks that he was murdered, maybe by someone who helped him murder JonBenet.

There was a pair of hi-tech boots found in Helgoth's room with a shoe print similar to one found at the scene of JonBenet's murder. One of Helgoth's friends, who was convinced that Helgoth was involved, handed an impression of the boot to the Ramseys who gave it to the authorities.

The authorities believed that the boots were of the wrong size and quickly dismissed the claims. According to Johnson, Fuss would take her to the same junkyard where Helgoth worked and Fuss was "chummy" with the folks who worked there. At the time that Helgoth worked there, she and Fuss had gone to the junkyard to look for car parts.

Johnson shared that Fuss seemed to know that the Helgoth junkyard had the same car parts which she needed. A man who used to work with Helgoth, John Kenady, believes that Helgoth was most certainly involved in the murder. According to Kenady, Helgoth had wanted to know "what it would be like to crack a human skull."

Helgoth's most prized possession, which was his flashlight, turned up missing. On the scene of the crime, the Ramseys claimed that they had found an unidentified flashlight on the kitchen counter the day that JonBenet was murdered.

In late November of 1996, Helgoth allegedly had said to a coworker, "Me and a partner are going to make $50-60K each." Helgoth called this a "killer deal" and the overall amount matched the same as what was on the ransom note found at the Ramsey home.

After Christmas Helgoth told the same coworker that the deal went by the "wayside". He then changed his appearance and got a buzz cut.

After Helgoth passed away, his family have been reluctant to provide any DNA sample.

Detectives interrogated Todd and asked him if he were ready to submit to a DNA test, he agreed and gave  swabs then and there. Todd's DNA was not found to be matching with the crime.

If you have read up on this case as much as i have, i think detectives are relying on the DNA too much. I think the DNA is contaminated and should not be used.

John Ramsey is supposedly involved in a new documentary coming out soon. It is about the search for JonBenet's killer.

The Red River Mystery: The Murder Of Jennifer Harris

Jennifer Lenette Harris was born on October 26th,1973 in
Bonham, Fannin County, Texas to Alicia and Jerry Harris. She
was a very spirited and brilliant 28 year old woman with fiery red hair and bright brown eyes. She was a goofball who was a cheerleader and loved to play tennis.
It was Mother's Day 2002. Jennifer was visiting her friend Kristy Farr. Around 8 p.m. she told her friend that she had to go.  Jennifer would never be seen alive again.

The next day Jennifer's Jeep was discovered abandoned parked just down the road from a local music spot. Police reach out to her former boyfriend and business partner James Hamilton and her ex-husband Rob Holman. Both agreed to speak with investigators without a lawyer present.

James Hamilton, was with a friend more than an hour away from Bonham at a McDonald's around the time investigators believe Jennifer disappeared. He also took and passed a lie detector test.

Ex-husband Rob Holman was concerned about his alibi. Holman told investigators that he had gone out that night to buy beer and visit friends. But when they weren't home, he drove around alone for five hours on the roads of rural Fannin County. At first Holman denied having seen Jennifer, but after additional questioning Holman is admitted he did see her Jeep that night.

For six days there was no sign of Jennifer. Then a fisherman who was fishing on the Red River, he saw a body in the water. The body was completely naked. It turned out to be Jennifer's and her body was badly decomposed and her uterus was missing. The medical examiner couldn't determine the cause of death, but classified Jennifer's death as a violent homicide.

According to the fishermen, Jennifer had some blue mud on the front of her. Supposedly there are only two spots on the river within several miles that that mud is on the bottom. And the river bank is one of those spots. Not far from the river bank there used to be the original caretaker's cottage. The cottage coincidentally burned down the night that Jennifer vanished.

So what happened to Jennifer? Her family thinks that her ex-husband was involved.

She was a sixth grader when she began dating Rob, a fifth-grader. According to the family, by high school the two were practically inseparable. Jennifer had big dreams and she moved three hours away to go to college. A few years later, Rob followed her there, and the couple married in 1996. One year after the wedding, Jennifer's mother died of cancer.

In 1999, the couple bought a house in suburban Dallas and that's when the turmoil started. Rob, who was working in landscaping, preferred the slower pace of rural Bonham while she enjoyed living near a big city. Jennifer embraced a holistic lifestyle and enrolled in massage therapy school. She met James Hamilton who was like-minded and who wanted to start a business that was a massage and wellness center. Their relationship was complicated. Hamilton was living with the mother of his child, and had another on the way. Jennifer was still married to Rob.

Jennifer's father went to visit her in her new home. He was shocked and dismayed to see holes in the living room wall. Jennifer and Rob both claimed they didn't know how they got there, but Jennifer's dad was sure Rob did it in a fit of rage.

Jennifer's sister Alyssa said that Jennifer called her one night, her voice shaking. She told her Rob came home drunk and forced himself on her. Jennifer never reported the alleged attack. But Rob would later tell police, after her disappearance, that Jennifer was the violent one in the relationship.

Rob wasn't the only one with a possible motive in Jennifer's death.

Jennifer and Rob soon split. Rob moved back to Bonham, and Jennifer's new love interest, James Hamilton, moved in with her. They became partners in a massage therapy business in suburban Dallas. James wanted to marry her, but she refused to marry him. Supposedly, this made him very very upset. Soon their relationship was on the rocks and to top it all off, they had to file bankruptcy on their business.

Soon Jennifer got back into contact with Rob, who had a new girlfriend. She even told one of her cousin's that, "I still love him. I want him back. I even told him that." Supposedly, James didn't know that this was going on. Rob later admitted to police, that even though he had a girlfriend, he and Jennifer were still having sex.

Jennifer moved back to Bonham, some speculated to be closer to Rob. Six weeks later, Jennifer disappeared. On the very day she went missing, she called Rob. Rob says she asked to see him, but he refused.

Jennifer's best friend says that she had told her that she was pregnant and that it was Rob's.

Was Jennifer really pregnant? The medical examiner could find no evidence that Jennifer was pregnant. Remember, her uterus was missing, was that due to wild life or something more sinister?

Rob did come forward to detectives and told them that he had met Jennifer a month before she disappeared, near a drive-in movie theater. She allegedly told him that she was pregnant and that the baby was his. Authorities haven't been able to physically connect Rob to Jennifer the night of her disappearance.

Jennifer's dad said that James called two months after Jennifer's death and asking about her insurance policy... Also, Jame's alibi wasn't checked out.

One year after Jennifer's murder, Deborah Lambert told detectives she saw something when she was driving across the Red River Bridge on Mother's Day. She said that there was three guys out there and a girl. And two guys had the girl by her elbows and she was trying to get away from them and they were restraining her. She said she was too afraid to get involved. Her story didn't fit with the investigators' timeline. She put Jennifer near the bridge at 5 p.m., but detectives believed Jennifer left her friend Kristy's Farr's house around 8 p.m. Lambert was asked to look at a photo lineup to see if she recognized any of the men the woman was with. She did. She was very clear that one of the men she saw was Rob Holman. No one can follow up with Lambert, she and her mom both have passed away.

After 48 hours did a story on Jennifer, new tips came in.

An anonymous tipster said he was driving back to Fannin County from the Choctaw Casino in May 2002 when he began driving across the Red River and saw something unusual.

"I observed someone standing beside the van with two trash bags," said anonymous tipster. "The person I observed was a local resident in Bonham." He said the man was dressed in all black with white gloves holding the bags. He said the man drove away in a green van after he was spotted.

Neither James Hamilton nor Rob Holman have ever been arrested or charged with any crime related to Jennifer's murder. And her case remains unsolved.

Anyone with information about the Jennifer Harris case is asked to contact the Fannin County Sheriff's Office at 903-583-2143.

Is There A Giant Piece Of Our Sun Missing?

Back in July of 2013, scientists at the Godard Space Center, which is the headquarters of NASA's Soho observatory, were monitoring  satellite feeds when they see a 500,000 mile wide hole in the sun. Scientists were stunned and didn't know what was going on. Any small change in our sun can mean catastrophe for us. Even just a 7 percent dip in our suns output could bring upon another ice age.

In an effort to try to figure out what was going on, scientists use a satellite that captures pictures of super hot gasses in the sun's atmosphere. It allows them to see things that are only visible in the ultraviolet spectrum. When they did this, scientists realized that it wasn't a giant hole at all, but a spot filled with gasses that are much cooler than the rest of the sun. These cooler areas are called coronal holes and are areas where material can escape.

This particular coronal hole scares scientists because it is in a perfect position to blast the Earth with solar particles causing a solar storm. This can knock out satellites and it can make electronics not work properly, which happens. It would only take a few days for a deadly sunbeam to hit the earth. If the earth gets directly hit with a sunbeam, there would be spectacular light show in the northern sky, the aurora borealis, as the earth's magnetosphere absorbs the energy of the particles from the beam.

Almost 3 days after the discovery of the coronal hole, scientists freaked out when the northern sky erupted in an awesome light show that lasted for two days. They thought that maybe earth was hit by a sunbeam, thankfully earth hasn't been hit by a sunbeam... yet.

Waffle House Disappearances: Michelle Whitaker, Heather Sellars & The Murder of Dana Satterfield.

32 year old Michelle Whitaker had problems with substance abuse. She was working at a diner called Waffle House. She was arrested for drunk driving and public drunkenness. Her mother, Laura Andrews, tried “tough love”, hoping that a court ordered rehab program would help her overcome her problems. This made Michelle angry.

It was August 16, 2002  and after being released on the public drunkenness charge, she found a friend who took her to a truck stop in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Michelle seemingly disappeared without a trace. The friend who dropped her off at the truck stop was questioned by police, and after passing a polygraph he was ruled out as a suspect.
A month after Michelle's disappearance, Heather Sellars, one of Michelle's co-workers went missing as well. On the afternoon of September 24, 2002, twenty-year-old Heather was dropped off at her job at a Waffle House restaurant in Spartanburg, by her grandmother Norma. She was carrying a bag containing her work uniform and another outfit. She planned to spend the night at her aunt's home. After her shift was over, she went there. Shortly afterwards, Jonathan Vick, her boyfriend and former fiance, picked her up. The couple then went to two local bars. This was the last time she was seen alive. When Heather didn't pick up her paycheck at the Waffle House, her family knew that something was wrong. Vick was the last person known to have seen her alive. He was considered a suspect in her disappearance. Her family claimed that she had been abused by him. However, she never reported the abuse to the police.

Heather was born on July 27th, 1982 was 5'1 - 5'3 feet tall, 100 - 110 pounds pounds. She was last seen wearing a beige tank top, blue jeans and some jewlery. She had blond hair, blue eyes, a tattoo on her arm and a mole on her cheek. She enjoyed camping, dancing and going the beach. Her case remains unsolved.
Dana Satterfield was 27 years old in 1995 and owned and operated her own beauty salon off of State Highway 221 in Roebuck, South Carolina. She was a mother of two children and had recently separated from her husband, Mike. Around 6:30 p.m. on July 31st,  she bought a bottle of cleaning fluid from a door-to-door saleswoman named "Shirley". At 8:11 p.m., Shirley passed by Dana's salon, saw her cleaning up, and waved to her. She then went to visit two other stores.

At 8:30 p.m., Shirley returned to the salon to wait for her ride home when she heard strange noises coming from inside. She then saw the lights turn out, heard a very loud sound, and saw a man jump out of one of the windows. She ran to a nearby liquor store to call the police. However, she crossed paths with the man in front of the liquor store. Fearing for her safety, she ran toward the street to flag down a motorist. When that was unsuccessful, she ran to the nearest house and called the police.

A deputy sheriff arrived at the salon and found Dana's body in a closet. She had been beaten, raped, and strangled. Authorities ruled out robbery as nothing appeared to have been stolen.

Another witness, Ken Smith, later came forward. He was driving past the salon at around 8:40 p.m. that same night, when he saw a suspicious man nearby. The man was standing next to a car and gave him a dirty look. Based on the time frame and description, it is believed that he was the killer. Despite the witnesses, no one was ever arrested in her murder. A $50,000 reward was being offered for information in the case.

Police first suspected that Mike was the killer. His fingerprints were found on the water heater which was next to her body. Mike told police that he had installed the water heater. He also said that their breakup was amicable. He also did not fit the description of the suspect. They also looked into the possibility that he had hired someone to murder her, but could find no evidence to support the theory.

Police suspect that the killer may have stalked Dana. They believe he was a predator, possibly a serial killer. A composite was made of the suspect. Authorities estimated that the killer at the time was eighteen to twenty-five years old, 5'6" to 5'9" tall, 145-170 pounds, with blond or light brown hair. They believe he drove a blue Ford Bronco with custom rims and out of state license plates.

Ten years later, in October of 2005, authorities arrested a local man named Jonathan Vick and charged him with Dana's murder, kidnapping and criminal sexual conduct. Authorities had investigated Vick back in 1995, but they did not have enough evidence to connect him until a witness, his friend David Pace, came forward. He claimed that on the day of the murder, Vick told him that he was going to meet with Dana later that night. and  threatened to kill him if he told anyone about visiting her. David was overcome with remorse years later, after meeting Dana's daughter.

Authorities matched semen from Dana's body to Vick's DNA. Vick  matched the physical description of the suspect and owned a Ford Bronco with custom rims. He also had been a customer at Dana's salon prior to her murder. His ex-girlfriend claimed that after the murder, he drove her to the salon and said that if she didn't listen to him, she would end up like "that woman". Vick was and ex-marine and assaulted several people and was known for having a "violent temper".

In December of 2006, he was convicted of the charges and given a life sentence and will be eligible for parole in 2035. He is also a suspect in the disappearance of his girlfriend, Heather Sellars.

Also in 2006, authorities found bloodstains and blonde hair in an abandoned vehicle registered to Vick. They believe the blood and hair may be from Heather, but there has been no release of the results of the forensic analysis.

Vick was a suspect in Michelle's case until the summer of 2008 when a woman that watched an episode of Forensic Files, that featured Vick's murder conviction, showed a photo of Michele. The woman was shocked because the photo was of her neighbor. She called the police to let them know Michelle was alive and well and living in Oregon. Michele Whitaker contacted her family a short time later, and attended her sister’s wedding. She told family members she disappeared because she wanted to start a new life and that she was ashamed of her past indiscretions.
