Former Deputy Robin Renea Abrams Missing before going to trial against her police officer boyfriend.

Robin Renea Abrams
The last time anyone saw her was on October 4, 1990.
Abrams and her father waved to each other as they passed each other on Goodenow Road during the early evening  in her hometown of Beecher, Illinois.

Her red 1989 Dodge Daytona hatchback, turned up eleven hours later in Harvey, Illinois with the doors locked and keys still in the ignition.
Her camera was in the car.
A witness said two men in a tow truck dropped the car off at 10:00 p.m.

At 3:00 a.m., a neighbor called the police to report someone breaking into the car.
Three days after Abrams vanished, her purse was found in a residential area three blocks away from the car's original location. Whoever took it left her wallet, but took the credit cards from inside it.

She dated a married police officer, Anthony Marquez, beginning in 1987.
They met while she was working at a McDonald's restaurant.
He convinced her to join the sheriff's department.
She was hired her as a deputy in January 1988.

October 1998, Marquez allegedly smashed a car that Abrams was driving with her mother was in the passenger seat.
She ended her relationship with him and in November she filed a complaint against him.
She said he'd harassed her and slashed her vehicle's tires on four occasions.
Marquez was charged with criminal damage to property, but the charge was dismissed for lack of evidence in April 1989.

The sheriff's department fired Abrams in December 1988.
Marquez then filed a criminal complaint against her, alleging harassment. that was dismissed.
Marquez filed additional harassment complaints against Abrams in the summer of 1989.
She was arrested several times that year, including in May for disorderly conduct.
No charges were brought.
In August she was arrested for reckless driving, Marquez claimed she'd tried to run him off the road.
October 1989, a jury found Abrams not guilty.
In November 1989, Abrams got a restraining order against Marquez.
She accused him of stalking her and falsely claiming she'd smashed her vehicle into his.
The order was extended until November 27, 1990.

December 1989, she filed a federal lawsuit against Marquez and seven other members of the sheriff's department.
She alleged wrongful termination, sexual harassment and violation of her civil rights.
She was scheduled to give a deposition in the case on October 22, 1990.

The police department fired Marquez in December 1990.
He still lives in the area.
Abrams's lawsuit was dismissed in January 1991.

Her family believes Marquez was involved in her disappearance. She told them if she ever went missing, he probably had something to do with it.

What happened to Lee Roy Young? Was he killed by the Colombian Drug Cartel?

Lee Roy Young
He was a fifty-six-year-old bank fraud investigator at the time.
He was last seen leaving a restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ at 12:30 pm on May 4, 1990.
Three calls were made from his car phone to a payphone and to a woman who denied ever talking to him.
The next day, his Lincoln Town car was found engulfed in flames in the desert a day later 100 miles south of Phoenix, AZ.
Thousands of dollars worth of jewelry were in the trunk of his car. The only things that was missing were his personal Rolex watch and his briefcase that he kept his files in.
He was investigating into money laundering by a Colombian drug cartel.
The cartel allegedly was using the bank he worked at for their operation.
He had contacted federal agents that dealt with drug smuggling.
A week before he vanished, he tried to reach the agents, without success.
It is believed that one of the killers made the phone calls from Lee's car.

Sherri Holland Vanished Off the Face of the Earth

Sherri Holland
Holland lived on Peachtree Battle Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996.
She was staying at a vacation home in Flagler Beach, Florida, which she also owned.

Holland was planning to return from her house in Florida to Atlanta on August 16, 1996.
She was last seen between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. leaving from her Flagler home.

She was never seen again.

There were few personal belongings inside her house.

Her gold-colored 1987 BMW 325I with Georgia license plates numbered BKT664 was found abandoned on August 25, 1996,
on the northbound side of Interstate 75 in Morrow, Georgia, just south of Highway 54.
It was parked near Exit 76 between Macon, Georgia and Atlanta.
It had a nail in the right side front tire, which was flat.
Inside the car there was a loaded gun, a purse and more than $2,400 in cash inside, but no wallet and no suitcases.

Her two dogs were found in a field near the Stratford Arms apartment complex in Riverdale, Georgia,
two miles from where her car was found.
One of them had been killed in traffic, the other,Gracie, was rescued and given to Holland's sister.

Gracie had periodically walked along Valley Hill Road and Upper Riverdale Road during that time.
One of the residents said that Gracie attempted to lead him towards a wooded area across the street from the apartments.
Investigators searched there, nothing was found.

Authorities received an anonymous tip that Holland was seen near her BMW on Interstate 75 loading luggage into a white pickup truck on the day she disappeared.

Investigators searched the area where her car was abandoned, but found no evidence.
Holland operated an escort service in 1996.
Her former partner told investigators that he believed Holland had been murdered because of business she was involved in.
Her partner spoke of her in the past tense during their interview.  Holland had made several enemies in the past.

Holland allegedly placed hidden video cameras, recorded her employees and clients in compromising situations, then used the materials for blackmail.
Holland's partner said that he heard several people discuss murdering her.

Holland had been involved with a married man since 1989.
Holland and the married had apparently planned to marry by December 1996, but he was having second thoughts at the time of her disappearance.
The married man stated that he had argued with her, about their relationship, before she left for Florida.
She paged him at 11:30 a.m. on the day she disappeared.
He called her back and she said she would phone him after she arrived in Atlanta.
He said that he never heard from her again.
Holland's friends told authorities that she was depressed and was tiring of the escort business in August 1996.
She wanted to travel to Europe.

A recorded phone conversation between one of Holland's sisters and an unidentified person in September 1996, stated that it was possible that Holland went abroad and essentially staged her own disappearance.
