November 24, 1971, a man in his mid forties used the alias Dan Cooper, and boarded flight 305, a Boeing 727 at the Portland International Airport. After take off, he notified a flight attendant that he had a bomb. He showed her a case, with eight canisters and several wires in it. The media accidentally dubbed him D.B. Cooper. He managed to extort $200,000 in ransom in exchange for all the passengers on board. He had the money delivered to the plane by the F.B.I. after landing in Seattle, Washington. The plane took off, headed for New Mexico. Before the plane arrived, Cooper parachuted out.
A team of cold-case investigators claim they’ve decoded a 1972 message by D.B. Cooper.
The letter was addressed to “The Portland Oregonian Newspaper.”
The investigators say that it contains a confession from Vietnam veteran Robert Rackstraw, long suspected of being the infamous skyjacker.
Ancient mummies pop up in the Shpagnum Bogs. Thousands of mummies have been discovered in Ireland, Britain, Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. They are nicknamed the Bog People and date back to the Iron Age. They keeping appearing without any evidence as to why. The almost oxygen free bogs, keep the bodies pretty much intact, with organs, skin and in some cases, full heads of hair. It has been determined that many, if not all have been murdered.
Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California, February 8, 1981, police discovered the headless body of 29 year old, Leroy Carter Jr., wrapped in a sleeping bag. Stuffed into the neck, was a chicken wing, and two corncobs. Carter's head was no where to be found. Nearby, they found the chicken. It appeared that it had been ritualistically slaughtered. Inspector Sandi Gallant, whom specialized in satanic and occult killings, claimed that Carter's head, was being used to make a ritualistic brew.
She also said that the head would be returned to the crime scene 42 days later.
Nobody believed her theory, so when the head was returned 42 days later, no one was watching.
Gallant came to believe the Carter killing resulted from a rite of Palo Mayombe.
The Palo Mayombe is a violent, African-rooted faith that combines Santeria, Aztec blood rites, Haitian-style voodoo, and full-blown devil-worship.

He was born on October 2, 1904 and was the 2nd Prime Minister of India and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress political party.
He led the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. The day after peace was announced, Shastri was found dead in the capital of Uzbekistan, from what seemed like fatal heart attack. He was the first Prime Minster to die overseas. Some people claimed that Shastri was murdered and that his death was a cover up. Before the incident, he had just been declared healthy by his doctor. He had no previous signs of heart issues. A request for access to documents pertaining to Shastri's death, was denied by the Prime Minister's office. His family insists that he was poisoned. Gregory Douglas is a journalist who interviewed former CIA operative Robert Crowley over a period of 4 years.
He recorded their telephone conversations and published a transcription in a book titled Conversations with the Crow.
In the book, Crowley claimed that the CIA was responsible for eliminating a Indian nuclear scientist whose plane crashed into Alps.
He was going to attend a conference in Vienna.
He also claimed that he killed Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Crowley said that the USA was wary of India's rigid stand on nuclear policy.
The prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri wanted to go ahead with nuclear tests.
He said that the agency was worried about collective domination by India and Russia over the region, for which a strong deterrent was required.
It is a constant, annoying and mysterious low frequency humming sound that is faintly heard in Taos, New Mexico.
No matter how many scientific attempts have been made, the source of the hum remains to be undetected.
The sound was first officially reported by the residents of Taos in 1993. Some describe it as a constant annoying humming sound, some describe it as a whir or a buzz as well. Even visitors to the city of Taos have reported hearing the hum. Many people claim that they have been hearing faint beats between the perceived tones. There are many side effects of the Taos hum reported by locals, such as sleep disturbances, headaches and dizziness, increased pressure on ears, abrupt nosebleeds, and loss of libido. A theory suggests that the hum is an outcome ultra low frequency RF signals that are getting emitted by the molten core of earth. Some suspect the US Navy ELF (Extremely low frequency) stations that are based out of the Michigan Peninsula and Wisconsin are the possible sources of the hum.

Pamela Wojas met Gregory Smart at a 1986 New Year's Eve party and married three years later, in 1989.
They shared a passion for heavy metal music. Gregory was an insurance agent.
Seven months into the marriage, they began having problems. Greg didn't come home one night. When he did come home, Pamela confronted him and he told her that he had a one night stand. She supposedly forgave him and told him she wanted the marriage to work.
She took a job as a media coordinator at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, New Hampshire.
Pamela met student William "Billy" Flynn at a local drug awareness program at Winnacunnet High School, where both were volunteers. They bonded over their mutual interest in heavy metal music.
Flynn was a sophomore.
May 1, 1990, Pamela Smart came home from a meeting at work around 2 a.m.,to find her condominium ransacked and her husband murdered with a single gunshot to the head. He was lying in the entryway.
The crime scene looked like a disrupted burglary. The police on the scene said that Pamela was hysterical. As police investigate the scene, Pamela demands they stop what they are doing and listen to her theories on what happened. Investigators stop what they are doing and listen to what she thinks happened. She said she knew it was a burglary when she walked in. Police say that they were surprised by this, because most people are so distraught that can't really say much and are not really focused. The autopsy stated that Greg was killed at 9 p.m. Supposedly, this is not a typical time for robberies to occur. Detectives ask Pamela not to speak to the media, because it could possibly hinder the case. Less than 48 hours after Greg's murder, Pamela phones a local tv crime reporter and asks him to interview her. The reporter said that that was and odd thing to do. Another thing he said he found odd was that she was dressed up and had makeup on. He also said her behavior was strange. He said that Pamela mentioned it was going to be her and Greg's wedding anniversary in a few days. She said that she had the top of her wedding cake in the freezer and asked him if he wanted to take some photos of it. She suggested it would make an emotional, poignant moment in his story. She also stated that there is no better time in Greg's life for his death to happen... A month later J.R. Lattime's father brought a .38 caliber pistol he had found in his house to the police. He also said he had heard his son and his friends talking about committing a murder. When ballistics come back, the results state that the bullet that killed Greg came from Lattime's gun.
May 14, 1990, an anonymous tip indicated that a teenager named Cecilia Pierce was aware of the plan.
Police talked to Cecilia, who then agreed to wear a wire and record some conversations with Smart.
Pamela apparently incriminated herself in the tapes. The tapes were of poor quality and were edited. The transcript of the tapes didn't match what was heard.
August 1, 1990, at 1:05 p.m., Detective Daniel Pelletier entered Pamela's office.
She asked, "What's up?"
"Well, Pam," Pelletier said in the recording,
"I have some good news and I have some bad news.
The good news is that we've solved the murder of your husband. The bad news is you're under arrest."
"What for?" Pamela asked.
"First-degree murder. Stand up and face the wall."
Pamela was then handcuffed, arraigned and jailed.
Pamela was accused of seducing 15-year-old Flynn and threatening to stop having sex with him unless he killed her husband.
Flynn murdered Greogry with the help of friends Patrick "Pete" Randall, Vance "J.R." Lattime, Jr., and Raymond Fowler.
Flynn shot Greggory Smart as Randall held him down.
Lattime, the driver, waited in the getaway car outside with Fowler.
Pamela faced life in prison if convicted.
The prosecution's case relied heavily on testimony from Pamela's teenaged co-conspirators, who had secured their own plea bargains before her trial began.
Arguments began March 4, 1991, Assistant Attorney General Diane Nicolosi portrayed the teenagers as naive victims of an "evil woman bent on murder." The prosecution portrayed Pamela Smart as the cold-blooded mastermind who controlled her young lover and claimed that Pamela seduced Flynn to get him to murder her husband. He said she could avoid an expensive divorce and benefit from a $140,000 life insurance policy. Pamela acknowledged that she had an affair with the teenager, but claimed that the murder of her husband was solely the doing of Flynn and his friends as a reaction to her telling Flynn that she wished to end their relationship and repair her marriage. She insisted that she neither participated in the murder plot or had any knowledge of it beforehand. She claimed that she had told Greg of her affair and that he forgave her the way she forgave him for his affair. Supposedly she then told Flynn that she wanted to end the relationship. Though Flynn claimed he had fallen in love with Pamela when he first met her, Cecilia Pierce testified at trial that Pamela and Flynn were originally just friends. Pierce first noticed a change about February. Pamela confessed to her that she "loved Bill." Flynn testified at trial that he was a virgin before he had sex with After a 14-day trial came to an end on March 22, 1990, in the Rockingham County Superior Court, Pamela was found guilty of being an accomplice to first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and witness tampering. Pamela coerced Cecilia to not say anything to authorities or to lie. The conviction was largely the result of the testimony of her co-conspirators and secretly taped conversations in which Pamela appeared to contradict her claims of having wanted to reconcile with her husband and of having no knowledge of the plot. She was given a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility for parole.
Pamela argued that the media had influenced her trial and conviction. 1992, William Flynn was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder.
He was not eligible for parole for 40 years with 12 years of the minimum sentence deferred if he maintains good behavior.
Flynn was incarcerated at the Maine State Prison in Warren.
He earned his GED while in prison.
He has been active in charity work and worked as an electrician at the prison.
2007, Flynn sought a sentence reduction after serving 16 years.
He apologized to Gregg Smart's family for murdering him.
The Smart family opposed the request.
February 12, 2008, the request was denied.
Flynn's earliest parole eligibility date was reduced by three years to 25 years, making him eligible for parole in 2015.
July 2014, Flynn was moved to a minimum security facility where he allowed him to participate in a work release program. Flynn was granted parole by the state parole board on March 12, 2015. He was released from prison with lifetime parole on June 4, 2015.
Patrick Randall was also sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder, eligible for parole in 40 years with 12 years deferred, making him eligible as early as 2018.
He too served his sentence at the Maine State Prison in Warren, Maine.
March 2009, a judge reduced Randall's minimum sentence by three years to 25 years.
This made him eligible for release as early as June 2015.
Randall was granted parole by the New Hampshire Parole Board after a hearing on April 9, 2015.
He was released on June 4, 2015 on lifetime parole.
Co-conspirator, driver Vance Lattime was sentenced to life in prison as an accomplice to second-degree murder, eligible for parole in 30 years, with 12 years suspended.
He was eligible for parole in 2008.
2005, his minimum sentence was reduced by three years, and he was paroled that same year.
Co-conspirator Raymond Fowler, who sat in the car during the killing, was sentenced to 30 years for conspiracy to murder and attempted burglary, and he was eligible for parole after 15 years.
Fowler was paroled in 2003, but was sent back to prison in 2004 for violating his parole terms.
He was paroled again in June 2005.
To this day Pamela claims her innocence.
She was beaten in 1996, by two inmates and had to have reconstructive surgery on her face.
Flynn and his accomplices, except for one, were in the jail together before the trail.
They were housed in the same cell block.
Some people argue that this was a mistake, that they had time to get their stories straight.
There were other people in jail with Flynn and stated Flynn was forcing himself to cry and taking drugs before going on the stand to aid him in that en devour, all to look more remorseful. The one not jailed with the rest was Fowler. Fowler's story didn't match the others. He never said to anyone that Flynn killed Pamela's husband for her.
Some people say the judge didn't handle the trial very well either.
The judge didn't hand out a gag order, he didn't sequester the jury either.
Pamela was on a prescription for Prozac at the time.
She would flip flop back and forth from being severely manic and then depressed. A witness came forward this year saying that the night before the murder, the boys were at a party. The witness had asked Flynn if Pamela knew about his plans on murdering her husband. Flynn supposedly said that Pamela didn't know anything about the plot. Do you think Pamela was behind her husband's murder? Do you think her punishment fit the crime? I think there is a strong possibility that she asked Flynn to murder her husband, but i don't think she should be sentence to life without the possibility of parole, especially when those that actually committed the murder are free. Charles Manson had the option for parole.....

Shannan Watts met her husband Chris when he friended her on Facebook. They got married and moved from North Carolina to Fredrick, Colorado in 2012. They had two beautiful girls, three year old Celste and four year old Bella. She was also fifteen weeks pregnant with a son, whose name was going to be Nico. Shannan worked as a representative for a health and wellness company Level. Chris worked for a local gas and oil company called Anadarko Petroleum Company. People close to the family said that Shannan and her husband seemed to get along great and had a happy family, Monday, August 13, 2018, Shannan was coming home from a business trip from Arizona. 1:48 a.m., was dropped off from the airport to her house by her friend. A neighbor's security camera shows her enter her house. Chris claims he woke up that he woke up between 4 and 5 a.m. to get ready for work. 5:27 a.m., the neighbor's security camera shows Chris backing up his truck to his garage. Later, Chris told law enforcement that he was backing up his truck in order to load some tools. 10 a.m. the next morning, Shannan misses her doctor appointment. This is were friends and family, that are not Chris, get concerned. The friend that dropped Shannan off says that Shannan wasn't responding to any of her texts or calls. Chris says that he doesn't think anything is wrong. He thought she was just at a play date with the kids or something. This is when one of Shannan's friends goes to her house and couldn't located her or the girls. Chris says this is when he realizes something is wrong and calls the police around 1:40 p.m. There is still no sign of Shannan and no one can get a hold of her. Chris let officers search his house. There wasn't any evidence at this point that Chris had anything to do the their disappearances or anyone else for that matter. The police were still concerned however, all of Shannan's personal items, like her keys and purse, were still in the house. Tuesday August 14, the Colorado Bureau of Investigations and the F.B.I. issued a missing person's alert for all three of them and started aiding in the search.
Chris did an interview about his missing family. He states that he had an emotional conversation with Shannan, but nothing was wrong. He said that he just wanted them back. In the interview he smiles in some parts and sways nervously back and forth. Wednesday, August 15, police started investigation using a drone. They found bedsheets somewhere, that matched the the ones from the house that were in the trashcan. After this, they found that Chris was having an affair with a co worker. At this point, Chris said that "I will tell the truth after i talk to my father." After he talked to his father, Chris, at 11:30 p.m., he was arrested.
The friends of the family he was staying with, had became suspicious of Chris and called the police. Saturday, August 16, Chris admitted to killing his wife and kids. Then he slightly changes his story and said that Shannan strangled the girls and he became enraged at her. Then he said he strangled her to death.
Around 2:30 p.m., Chris appeared in court where he was denied bail. While he was waiting in jail, he told authorities where he had put the three bodies. He put the bodies on the same oil field that he worked on. Shannan was in a shallow grave and the two girls where in oil drums, submerged in oil. Friday, August 17, autopsies were done on the bodies. Not much info of this has been released to the public. People close to the investigation say that they were all possibly strangled and they have found no evidence that Shannan had any part in the girls' death. 4 p.m., August 20, Chris was officially charged with nine counts. Three counts of murder in the first degree, unlawful termination of pregnancy in the first degree and three counts of tampering with a deceased human body. Chris and Shannan filed for bankruptcy in 2015. Some people speculate that this is one of the reasons why Chris snapped. Some people also say that they didn't want to be tied down, or maybe he wanted to be with the co worker he was having an affair with.
August 29, a male lover of Chris Watt's comes forward. He says that Chris told him that Shannan was verbally abusive to him and that he felt trapped in the marriage. Maybe this is why Chris snapped? Did he finally get tired of hiding his double life? Maybe the fateful day of Shannan and the girl's death is when Shannan found out about his gay lover and Chris didn't want anyone to know? Chris' next schedualed court appearance is November 19. No word yet on if the prosecutors are going to seek the death penalty. Rest in Peace Shannan, Celeste, Bella and Nico
Susan Cox Powell was born October 16, 1981. She married Joshua Powell at the Portland Oregon Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April 2001.
They relocated to West Valley City, Utah, in 2004. Susan, a trained cosmetologist, took up a job with Wells Fargo Financial. In Susan's emails she attributed her marital problems both to financial stress brought upon by Joshua's extravagant spending habits and to his "very, very controlling" behavior towards her.
Joshua filed for bankruptcy in 2007, declaring over $200,000 in debts.
By 2008, Susan was expressing fears and frustrations about her marriage to friends.
She recorded a video in July 2009 surveying property damage she attributed to Joshua and wrote a secret will. In the will she said "I want it documented that there is extreme turmoil in our marriage" and, "If I die, it may not be an accident, even if it looks like one." December 6, 2009, Susan and her two sons, Charles and Braden, attended church services at the Hunter 36th Ward.
A neighbor visited them at home in the afternoon, leaving about 5:00 p.m. The neighbor said that Josh fixed pancakes for dinner and that Susan got very sleepy afterwards and went to bed early.
The entire Powell family were reported missing on December 7 by relatives. Joshua's mother Terrica and sister Jennifer Graves went looking for the family at their house shortly after being informed that the children had not been dropped off at daycare that morning. They called the police when they failed to make contact with Joshua and Susan. The police broke into the house and found no one inside, but noticed two fans blowing on a wet spot on a carpet in the house. Susan did not show up at her job on December 7. Her purse, cell phone, and car were all found at the house.
About 5:00 p.m., Josh returned home with the two boys and was taken to the police station for questioning. He claimed he had left Susan sleeping at home shortly after midnight on December 7. He had taken his boys on a camping trip to Simpson Springs in western Utah, in a snow storm.... Police visited Simpson Springs on December 10, but found no evidence of the campsite that Joshua had described.
Police searched the Powell residence on December 9 and found traces of Susan's blood on the floor.
They also found life insurance policies on Susan for US$1.5 million, and a handwritten letter from Susan expressing fear for her life. DNA test results, released in 2013, matched one blood sample with Susan, while another sample was determined to have come from an "unknown male contributor".
August 2012, West Valley City police released documents showing that Joshua "did not appear to be concerned about Susan's welfare" He liquidated her retirement accounts, cancelled her regularly scheduled chiropractic sessions; withdrew his children from daycare and spoke to coworkers about how to hide a body in an abandoned mineshaft in the western Utah desert.
Police interviewed the eldest son, Charlie. He confirmed that the camping trip Joshua described took place. Unlike his father, he stated that Susan had gone with them and she did not return. A teacher reported that Charlie had claimed that his mother was dead. Susan's parents claimed that, while at daycare, Braden drew a picture of a van with three people in it, and said that "Mommy was in the trunk".
Investigators informed the media that they planned to question Joshua again, and subpoenaed all footage and interviews of Joshua from local television stations. December 14, Joshua retained an attorney. Police said that he grew increasingly uncooperative. He took his sons to his hometown of Puyallup, Washington, to stay with his father Steven for the holidays. December 24, Joshua was considered a person of interest in the investigation. January 6, he returned with his brother Michael to pack the family's belongings.
Soon afterwards, the website SusanPowell.org was established.
The site's anonymous entries defended Joshua as the victim of a smear campaign by Susan's family, his sister Jennifer, and the LDS Church. Posts also speculated that Susan's disappearance was connected to that of Steven Koecher, a Salt Lake Tribune journalist who vanished the same week as Susan. The posts claimed that the two had run off to Brazil together. 2010, both men claimed that Susan had abandoned her family due to mental illness and that she had left with another man. Susan's family rejected these claims as being "unsupported" by any evidence
Investigators' learned that Joshua's father, Steven "Steve" Powell, had been obsessively infatuated with his son's wife.
Computer images seized from Steven's house in 2010 turned up 4,500 images of Susan taken without her knowledge, including close-ups of specific body parts.
September 14, 2011, Utah authorities discovered a possible gravesite while searching Topaz Mountain, that Joshua had frequented as a campsite.
There were signs of recent soil disturbance and shoveling. After digging a few feet down, police were unable to find any remains, in spite of careful sifting of the soil. Federal anthropologists ruled out the possibility of the site being an ancient burial ground. Authorities said they were following a scent detected by their sniffer dogs.
After a police raid in their home in 2011, both Joshua and Steven spoke to major news outlets regarding journals that Susan had allegedly written about the relationship between Steven and herself. Steven claimed that he and Susan had been falling in love prior to her disappearance.
He cited the content of the journals, that were written when Susan was a teenager, as evidence to support his theory that she was mentally unstable and could have run away with another man. A judge issued a permanent injunction forbidding Joshua and Steven from publishing any material from Susan's journals. The judge ordered the pair to either return or destroy any journals already published.
September 22, Steven was arrested on charges of voyeurism and child pornography.
Police found evidence that he had secretly videotaped numerous women and young girls, including Susan. John Long, assistant Attorney General for Washington State, said that Joshua was a "subject" in the child porn investigation. A friend of Steven claimed that he was preoccupied with pornography and "was hung up on Susan sexually". Charles "Chuck" Cox, Susan's father, filed for custody of her children the day after Steven was arrested. Cox eventually was granted temporary custody of the boys. The court ruled that Joshua would have to move out of his father's home if he wanted to regain custody, even though he is a person of interest in his wife's disappearance. Josh rented a house in Graham, Washington. Authorities later alleged that he had never actually moved into that house. He just made it appear as if he had satisfied the court's instructions while continuing to live at his father's home.
September 2011, Joshua's sister Jennifer stated that she believed Joshua was "responsible for his wife Susan Powell's disappearance".
She worked with police and went undercover to try to get some answers in Susan's disappearance. She even went so far as to ask Josh point blank, while she was wearing a wire, if and what he did to Susan.
His other sister Alina had also been suspicious of him as well, but later she said withdrew her suspicions and felt that Joshua had been unduly harassed by the investigation. September 28, Mayor Mike Winder stated, "We feel that we are getting to that tipping point where we have more hot evidence than we have had in the past two years", and that the case was moving forward.
2011, Joshua underwent a series of court-ordered evaluations. The evaluations determined that Joshua had adequate parenting skills, a steady employment history and no criminal record or history of domestic violence. They also raised issues concerning the ongoing criminal investigations, Joshua's failure to admit normal personal shortcomings, his overbearing behavior with his sons, and his persistent defensiveness and paranoia. The initial recommendation was for Joshua to have visitation with his sons several times a week, supervised by a social worker.
January 2012, Utah police discovered about 400 images of simulated child pornography, bestiality and incest on Joshua's computer. The images, were not illegal due to their being in a hand-drawn, or cartoonish 3-D format. They were cause for "great concern", particularly given Joshua's earlier denial of possessing any such material. Joshua was recommended to receive a more thorough psychosexual evaluation and polygraph test, but no change was suggested in the visitation schedule with the Powell boys despite everything...
There has to be something wrong with the system when a man like this can still have visitation and in his own house..
Chuck Cox told child protective services and other authorities that he felt that if Josh felt cornered or pushed, that he might do something terrible to the boys.
Michael established a Google Sites page which claimed that Susan's parents were abusing and neglecting the boys in collusion with child welfare authorities. He also posted that West Valley Utah police had both mishandled the investigation into Susan's disappearance and were harassing Joshua. Lawyers for the Cox family disputed the allegations, and Google removed the site after a few days due to terms of use violations.
February 5, 2012, a social worker called 9-1-1 after bringing Charlie and Braden to a supervised visit at the house Josh rented. The woman, who was supposed to monitor the visit between Joshua and the boys, said he grabbed them and would not let her in the door. She said she beat on the door and yelled to be let in to no avail. She went back to her car to call her supervisor. The house exploded, killing Joshua and the two children. Local authorities treated the case as a double murder-suicide, saying that the act appeared to have been deliberate.
Authorities notified Steven, who was in jail. Supposedly he "didn't seem very upset by the news, but was angry towards authorities who notified him". Steven invoked his Fifth Amendment right to not answer questions about the Susan Powell case. Cox and others have stated they believe that Steven knows what actually happened to Susan. Steven was convicted of voyeurism charges in May 2012 in a trial.
Officials confirmed that the explosion had been deliberately planned. The cause of death for Joshua and the two boys was carbon monoxide poisoning. The coroner also noted that both children had significant chopping injuries on the head and neck. A hatchet was recovered near Joshua's body. He had attacked the boys with it before being overwhelmed by smoke and fumes. There was also found two five-gallon cans of gasoline, as well as evidence that gasoline had been spread throughout the house.
Friends and relatives of Joshua told authorities that he had contacted them by email minutes before. Some of them, received instructions about finding his money and shutting off his utilities. Joshua named Michael as the main beneficiary of his life insurance policy.
Charles and Braden are buried at Woodbine Cemetery, which also contains a memorial for Susan. Later police believe they have another person of interest in Susan's disappearance, Josh's brother Michael. Police questioned Michael several times in 2012, after discovering that he had abandoned his car in a junkyard in Oregon several weeks after Susan's disappearance Michael was "evasive". Utah authorities have since said they believe that Joshua and Michael were accomplices in the murder of Susan February 11, 2013, Michael took his own life in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He jumped from the roof of a parking garage.
May 21, 2013, West Valley City police announced that they had closed the active investigation into Susan's disappearance. After, the handwritten will, written by Susan, was found in a safety deposit box. It instructed the reader not to show her husband the will. That is where the video she made in 2009 was kept as well.
March 2015, Cox won a court battle over the control of Susan's estate. Joshua's mother, Terrica, and his sister, Alina, sought to have Susan declared legally dead to collect life insurance. The Cox ultimately gained full control of the estate.
