Why do some people collect things. For example: DVDs or Blueray. Ya it's great to have a movie you love to watch over and over again. How long ready does a DVD last that you watch all the time. They get scratched and cracked and skip. If you upgrade and move on to Blue ray instead, it's alittle more durable, but pretty soon and they'll come out with something else to replace it with. Then there won't be blue ray players anymore. Everything eventually is going to become obsoleet anyway. Everyone likes the online instant movie downloads, that's what everything will be someday soon. Why waste money on stuff that will just clutter up your lives. Saving the money for a vacation or things you can do to build memories from is better in my opinion. Life is short and you better get as much of enjoyment you can get out of it as possible. What's the point of collecting stuff if one day you can't sell it or pass it down from generation to generation. Most stuff goes to the thrift store or garbage when we die anyway. You can't take it with you even if you wanted to.
